From everything that's been reported, it's Texas and there isn't a close second.

Simpson told IT he was supposed to meet with Sark and Coach Baker after the game, but he wasn't offered.
IT thinks it will happen at some point, and he's already said he's coming back for Georgia.
OTF was able to confirm Simpson did meet with Sark and Coach Baker.
However, Hamilton thinks Simpson will only be offered if the staff decides to take five DTs.
Be interesting to know what the coaches DL board looks like/order preference between Wynn, Sims, Mathis, and Mbatchou.
Gerry says the staff absolutely wants Sims. Don't see how they say no to Wynn. Mathis looks like a Byron Murphy clone. Every indication is the staff definitely likes Mbatchou.
Yeah, hard to see where Simpson fits.
Sounds like they're going to try to wrap up Sims next weekend, so that would make three with Charles and Sharma already in the boat.
The order of preference after that seems to be Mathis and then Mbatchou, but they love both.
Texas' strategy with Wynn is more difficult to figure out because he's still committed to FSU and Georgia is the other compe ion.
Good stuff
Is Sims having a really good senior season so far? We did not seem to care about him until we got desperate?
Did we really like him but he indicated it was ATM and that’s it? Why not DJ Sanders? I know we liked him as a excellent project?
I hope Ewers is OK to start against Miss St.
I would rather he not sit 3 full weeks and then play Oklahoma.
Oklahoma has a really good defense imo.
The guys 3rd and 4th from the left on the top row are cracking me up. They look like mobster tough guys
Quotes from '26 DE priority Jamarion Carlton of Temple, who will be at both the Mississippi State and Georgia games (247):
"The communication has actually been great. I talked to coach PK (Pete Kwiatkowski) like three days ago I think, so communication has been there a whole lot, I've been communicating with them a whole lot so it's been great."
"I mainly talk to coach PK most of the time but there's a couple of other coaches I'll hear from here and there and then sometimes I'll have a facetime with coach Sark."
"How did I do in the game, what I need to work on and everything," Carlton said of what the talking points are usually like when talking to Texas. "But it's usually based off how I can progress myself to be better."
"Really just saying I can't be nervous when I go out there, just go out there and play so I just try my best to do that go out there and play hard."
"Really just the atmosphere," Carlton said of what he's looking forward to seeing when he returns to Texas. "I've never been to a Texas game before in my life so just being there and experiencing everything."
"It's been very fun watching them, they've been going crazy. They probably can beat any team in the nation right now so it's been fun keeping up with them."
"I feel like they'll go deep in the playoffs and will probably win a natty. I think they'll probably win the natty this year."
"It's really good because you see they're putting people into the NFL every single year almost so just seeing how they've progressed to now, that means it took a whole lot of work and I — I, I like what they're doing."
"That everybody can have a chance if they just work hard. So I know he (Colin Simmons) put in a whole lot of work there, graduated early and worked hard to get playing time on the field regardless. That's something that's real hard to do. So just me seeing that if you really work hard, you'll be able to get on that field early and that's really a lot for me."
"To me, it really doesn't matter. Just wherever fits me so it doesn't matter if I have to go out of state or not. If the program fits me, then that's where I feel like I'm gonna go."
