Do you still oil up Pop n BonBon?
Lol still hating on one of the top 3 hall of fame coaches of all time
Do you still oil up Pop n BonBon?
Don't project your intense hatred for Pop on me
Or what?
I'll send your straw back up your circle everytime.
It wasn't a threat. More of a suggestion to let it go.
Let what go? I have a hatred of very attainable Championships being given, nay crapped away. It's healthy.
Not a personal hatred of Pop like you are trying to straw.
I barely know the guy off the court.
I don't try to stop you from celebrating all things Popped. So, do the same.
A healthy hatred? Lol yeah ok.
Now that's some straw.I don't try to stop you from celebrating all things Popped. So, do the same.
Resting cold ers like Green/Mills like they are shooting 45% from 3PT..
YOU POOP FOR RESTING 2 OF OUR 3 BEST BIGS.
Roll call nigs. Get in here and do some damage control for the most overrated coach of all time who consistently gets outcoached in the playoffs year in and year out.
the thread that just wont die
65 pages and still a derailed train ...that was derailed when it started.
I'd rather have Amy coach this team. At least she could get something out of them every night.
not sure if I read this right
Starting Pau, doesn't let DD do some playmaking, playing Forbes, sitting on his geriatric ass all of the first half. I'd rather have Errors coaching this bag of a team.
Triggered by a preseason game.
But but Pop was the reason for 50 wins.
Soon as he loses a superstar he is back to 40 win seasons lol
Amazing, isn’t it, that a teams win total drops with the subtraction of an all nba player. Happens a lot. They don’t usually make the playoffs, though.
This.
It's just another example of our fanbase having no idea how well they've had things the last 21 years. The most winning franchise in American professional sports, all from a small market in a sport where no other small market team has sniffed sustained success, and our fans still .
Sad little es they are.
People compare the Spurs to the Patriots, but the Packers are actually a closer comparison - both small market franchises. But the Pack have not sustained success for a two-decade period.
I'm actually shocked, as a Jazz fan, the Pop hatred on here. I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't like him cause I think he's kind of a to the media and his act gets old, but reading the comments that he can't coach is straight ludicrous.
Pop isn't an "overrated" coach by any means. I remember on the Jazz board, at the end of Sloan's career there were similar threads and posts about him. Sloan wasn't overrated (never won COY) but never won a le. It's hard for me to count how many les Pop won. I go into mild depression thinking about how many times the Spurs be the Jazz in a row and the years it spanned.
Pop has worked with some great players. He can sure the coach the non superstars into playing team ball though.
I have mad respect for the man.
Yep
And the NFL has a hard cap and revenue sharing beyond what the NBA has.
NBA tiles won by teams out side the top 10ish* metro areas at time of winning le since the merger 76/77
8
Portland 1 - 77
Seattlle 1 - 79
San Antonio 5 - 99, 03, 05. 07.14
Cleveland 1- 16
Detroit was on the edge in 2004 so sort of plus minus
It will be an extreme challenge to stay compe ive as we are already seeing the effects of reality- Stars bolting for greener pastures. This isn't a modern thing as Both Wilt and Kareem moved in the past for desire to be in a more desireble metro area
