Like the Trumpie in that manafort trial that almost derailed it?![]()
Happens all the time in churches across the country. Consider the audience.
FBI under tranny J E Hoover was more corrupt.
Trash plus his Repug less sycophants hate the FBI, slander it as corrupt, only when it comes after them.
This is different. If he's lying and a bunch of women come forward saying "he slept with me" then that would be bad. In fact I think it's stupid to say even if it's true. He becomes an easier target as a result tbh.
How? Do you think the people who already don't believe his accusers would pivot and believe women who came forward to contradict this claim?
Unless they've been holding on to his semen samples, I don't see how it would change anything. People have made up their minds.
Avenatti should produce a few women who have calendars that say, "Slept with Brett Kavanaugh" circa 1983.![]()
Ah yes, lest we forget how Biblical and Holy and studious one must be when they are getting blackout drunk in high school (which is illegal, for the record). Definitely a good Christian man who would never have sex before marriage.![]()
um... she is a woman. This is what is known in the real world as a "fact", i.e. an objective, verifiable feature of reality. Unlike imaginary conservative world. So you are going to ignore the evidence that says humans can tell the truth about something and not remember all the details?
Man, for a lawyer, you suck at this.
So, are you going to ignore the evidence that says humans can tell the truth about something and not remember all the details?
Other than the death threats you mean. Right?
The risk of death at the hands of some deranged nutjob, acting on the posted address and pictures of her house. because "god" told him to do it.
As a horrible human being, you don't care about that. At this point, I wouldn't put it past you secretly wishing something would happen to her, to shut her up.
.
Both the accusations thus far are terrible when you look at the details. This lower bar simply opens him up to more attack imo. It's easier to say we had sex than he raped me. It only makes sense to say it if it's true. Even then though it's debatable. To needlessly lie about it to defend against two crumbling accusations would be moronic.
Why not let the FBI look into it now?
(hint: rhymes with shmidterms)
Very true. Even if K is innocent, he’s put Republicans in a very awkward spot. Best course of action is get him to withdraw and try to rush someone else through
"get him to withdraw"
Repugs don't want that defeat in the weeks before the election, with Dems gloating over the defeated Repugs.
As has been pointed out, K, symbolically, represents white male privilege (women a semen receptacles), moneyed privilege, and the white male powers that groomed him and exercise that white male power over USA.
Brett Kavanaugh’s first year roommate—James Roche—has released a statement about the character of the two parties involved.
In it he provides yet another account of
Kavanaugh’s excessive drinking that was noticeable “even by the standards of the time.”
Roche says he became friends with Debbie, who felt out of place amongst the wealthy types like Kavanaugh,
but tried hard to be friendly and get along with everyone.
And while Roche says he was not present during the incident that Ramirez has told the press,
he does not doubt it.He says he has nothing more to add and will not be doing interviews, but he makes one thing very clear.
Based on my time with Debbie, I believe her to be unusually honest and straightforward and I cannot imagine her making this up.
Based on my time with Brett, I believe that he and his social circle were capable of the actions that Debbie described.

I have shared this information with a small number of reporters who reached out to me directly because Debbie has a right to be heard and I believe her.
What about death threats against Brett and his wife?
"White male privilege" is leftist drivel.
you doxxed her yourself, head.
You're a lawyer?
You see nothing wrong with how Kavanaugh's alleged victim is being treated? You keep repeating that the FBI has zero to investigate? Seriously?
Ok- just humor us;
(a) You are the alleged sexual assault victims attorney - the defense is telling you - no witnesses, no fbi investigation, no delay -gotta take the stand in 3 days, the jury has made comments regarding your client being "mixed-up" - and have pretty much stated that the accused suspect is pretty much gonna walk. They refused an investigation and said - "it was too long ago - nothing to find there" - there was another WITNESS - but he told the prosecutor "I don't want to testify under oath" and the prosecutor said "ok-sure"
-- Are you happy with this for your victim/client? -- Are the scales of justice evenly applied here?
(b) You are Kavanaughs attorney - the prosecutor is telling you - "he will walk" - the jury has been holding "war room sessions" all week and coaching him on how to answer questions, the prosecutor has disallowed any independent investigation even though the standard practice has always been to allow an fbi background to be completed or re-opened whenever new allegations surface but they winked at you and said "don't worry - the president believes your client and will back you 100%
-- Are you happy being the attorney in this situation?
A or B seems legally fair to you?
Since you are a lawyer.
A or B seems legally fair to you?
Man, you are a giant piece of .
You doxx a woman and then claim this? You had an active hand in perpetuating violence against someone else.
He was a flawed pick. They need to move on. They may lose the battle over K, but the war (tipping the SC in their favor for decades) is more important than some petty gender squabble
He was a flawed pick.
Problem is that the executive branch mechanism that normally funnels people that might pass muster is broken. "chaotic" is the word that best suits the current executive branch, so I don't see it happening before the midterms.
Sure, but it's not that simple. By lining up behind him and putting the weight of the president and Congress and double-downing on his character, they're now tied to him.
If they abandon him, it cuts them off at the knees in the primaries. Even losing 1 extra senate seat at this point could be disastrous. They could actually lose the house and senate, which would be have huge ramifications for the foreseeable future.
This is why the current administration is so incompetent. They make a mistake and rather than owning up to it (which would be, you know, the adult thing to do), they muster all their strength, jam their fingers in their ears, and insist that they meant to do the thing that is an idiotic thing to do.
Seriously. How can you not recognize that that is the ONLY bit of information in that post that has any relevance?
UN laughing at Donald Trump. That was painful to watch.
How is this pick flawed? Guys been through 6 FBI background checks, and EVERY charge against him has been leveled, for the first time, AFTER the nomination (one in the past week). I suspect ANY nominee will be "flawed" between the time they are nominated, and before they come to a vote. If an admitted 20 something (or later) year old virgin can be labelled a rapist, can you imagine what will happen to a guy with actual game?
