Tim Duncan bought CoD4... so should you.

That might be the most fun stage I've ever played on a game. Too bad the ending of that stage blows though. Shock and Awe is amazing too... it looks very close to photo-realistic in parts, especially at the beginning (not to mention the unforgettable end).
Anybody playing GH3 on xbox that wants to play sometime either faceoff or coop...but holy i still need to work on expert lol

I was on last night from 5 until almost 11. Unbelievable. Two of my friends were on and we just went crazy for 5+ hours. So much fun. I mean, it's unreal how good the game is once you learn the basic layout of the map and where the sentry guns are going to be.
playing medic with a good heavy is badass.
Whereas playing with one that doesn't know how to look behind him and never lays off the fire trigger is an exercise in extreme frustration.
I can't tell you how many times I've been screaming, "BEHIND YOU" at the heavy I'm healing, and he's so clueless he doesn't even know who his fracking medic is. SO annoying. Sometimes I get backstabbed or rocketed, and that's fine, but when I have an engy from the other team come up and melee me and my heavy is just wandering around............. AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.
But that's part of what makes the game great. There is NOTHING like walking into a base full of snipers and engys with an ubered heavy and just waxing everything.
I love when you guys find that stuff, I was able to get EGM and Windows gaming for a whole year, if you put those down about 4 months ago thanks![]()
I love setting sticky bomb traps....now that is fun as . Some engineers thought they'd set up teleports, put 3 right next to each other, I put the sticky bombs just waited and boom 6 easy points bet they were pissed to come through the teleport only to get blown the up lol
i just can't sit there and wait for something like that.
Anyone with a PS3 should consider Uncharted: Drakes Fortune . Probably one of the best looking next gen games out there. It's a short game but fun while it lasts.
anybody play mass effect yet? thoughts?
Hearing people yell at each other about how to use ubers is hilarious too.
Completely off topic but I just updated the rosters and the 07 schedule for nfl 2k5 (xbox) and it is still the best sports game ever, period. It s all over Madden 08 for 360. So addicting
I highly recommend it for anyone with an xbox and a transfer kit. This game is like $2 at gamestops
where did you get your kit from
and how much
jamming to rock band here. awesome game again, the graphics are better, compared with GH3. Wal-Mart didnt have the drum kits until friday. they sold out already of em. any of yall get rock band lets rock n roll WOOooooo
I loved AC, even though 'twas repe ive, never really felt like you were building to something and the amount of dialogue rivaled a story by Chaucer.
COD4 SP(MP virgin) was way too easy. And I know why...
Shock/Awe and All Ghillied Up were absolutely stunning to look at. Death From Above is way too much fun.
Mass Effect is up next. What other console games are on the horizon?

I beat the new Ratchet & Clank today. Maybe not as hardcore as some of the other les in this thread, but solid and engaging gameplay the whole way through. Next up will probably be Heavenly Sword, since my time around a PS3 is limited.
Close, but it's the 3rd best.
1. Winning Eleven 9 (PC)
2. Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)
3. NFL 2k5
SOOOO someone tell me, how is Rock Band???
Awesome, completely awesome.
So is there a separate drum kit?
I dont have PS3, but I always loved R&C. I seriously thought about buying a PS3 for that alone.
But then I woke up, and reality kicked me in the _____.
Yup, really well made too. The part I like most about the drums is during it's Star Power, you just do a freestyle on the drum fill. So that means you can do a rendition of Animal from the Muppet Show and rack up points like crazy and still pull it off as long as you hit the hi hat at the right moment at the end of the solo.
The new guitar takes a little getting used to, but the effects swich and solo fret buttons make it great. During certain songs, a solo is triggered, you rack up bonus points by hitting every note. And with the solo buttons lower on the neck, not having to strum during some of those crazy solos make it alot easier.
The singing is cool, I only tried one song, "Fortunate Son". I left the singing to my sister, who seemed to have a blast even though she didn't know some of the words.
It's worth every penny of the $140.
