Yup, really well made too. The part I like most about the drums is during it's Star Power, you just do a freestyle on the drum fill. So that means you can do a rendition of Animal from the Muppet Show and rack up points like crazy and still pull it off as long as you hit the hi hat at the right moment at the end of the solo.

The new guitar takes a little getting used to, but the effects swich and solo fret buttons make it great. During certain songs, a solo is triggered, you rack up bonus points by hitting every note. And with the solo buttons lower on the neck, not having to strum during some of those crazy solos make it alot easier.

The singing is cool, I only tried one song, "Fortunate Son". I left the singing to my sister, who seemed to have a blast even though she didn't know some of the words.

It's worth every penny of the $140.

The more accurate you play activates a different colored riff, I believe. Hit that riff and after the next part, a freestyle part opens up. Which is exactly what it sounds like. It highlights every color of the drums on screen, so you can play whatever you want, go crazy or keep the beat, 1 single green note will pop up and if you hit that, you get the bonus for the freestyle you just did, if you don't hit it, you lose the bonus points, but continue the song. It's hard to describe, hopefully I didn't confuse you.

I thought for the price of the bundle, each instrument would be cheaply made, not at all. The drums are pretty sturdy even the thick plastic kick pedal looks like it'll take a beating. The guitar like I said takes some getting used to if you're coming over from Guitar Hero, but it looks nice. Since the fret buttons are flush, unlike GH where the buttons are raised up, it's takes some practice to remember what buttons your fingers are currently resting on.

This has to be the best party game ever made. Not only were the people playing having fun, the other 6 people watching were laughing, singing along, recording, etc.

Enter Sandman came on the disc. I downloaded the Metallica pack off Xbox Live, which had And Justice for All, Blackened and Ride the Lightning. "One" is the song I can't wait for, even though it's on GH3. I like the fact that Rock Band actually has a release date list for upcoming downloadable songs, instead of Guitar Hero's "wait and see" mentality.

I guess the PS3 felt they had to release on at least in line with the 360 elite version. Well not elite version but the next one down. I had just been used to playing the Playstation for so long. But I needed to upgrade bad and was tired of waiting for Sony to drop their prices. So I just went with the 360. (oh and so Atrain could stop busting my balls about still having a PS2... )

Don't feel bad. I only have two games. Madden 08 and NBA 2k8. I don;t even have Halo 3 yet. Oh yeah and most of my friends still have a PS2. So right now I am the king! For some reason I can't play those first person games because it gets me feeling woozy. It's kind of one of those catch 22 deals because it sucks listening to you guys talk about how much fun you guys have playing those games. But on the other hand I save tons of money not having to worry about it. It was funny, after I got off of work one morning I went to Gamestop and asked the clerk how the Superman game was for the 360. He was looking at me with this strange look like "dude don;t you know that COD4 just came out today? One kid actually laughed at me. The only games I normally ever buy are the Maddens, and whatever NBA game is on point at the time. I may occasionally pick up a baseball game if I hear people raving about it.
