It was nice seeing everyone.
Nice seeing some familiar faces and meeting a few new peeps. Big ups to Rashofan for setting this one up, and a quick special thanks to Maalox for suggesting the reservation. There were easily 30-40 people on the front deck when everyone breezed through to our reserved table for 15. I got there early, at 6:30 since I left directly from work, and the table was ready within 5 minutes, and they seated me. Nice place, good craft brewed beer on tap, big screens, reservations, individual checks...we'll have to go back.
BTW, JB, I did NOT have potato skins. Shoog did, but even though he shared, I declined. God forbid I even appear in a GTG pic munching on one of those greasy delights...
Looks like everyone had a nice time, sorry I missed it. I love seeing the pics, but there is one thing I just can't understand: Snafu. You look like a very nice man, and I love my ShinerBock as much as anyone else, but dude, you're in a brewery!!!No really, I just think that's funny because I was in there about week ago and was chatting with a manager; I told him that I was hoping they'd be very successful, because San Antonio is such a, ugh, Bud Light town. He told me that on grand opening week the only beer they ran out of every night was Bud Light!!
So....I guess you are a little better in that respect!!
I had a pint of the Red (very good), but should have done what Rashofan did, and gotten the sampler. You get 4 5oz house beers of their choice, or you can choose your own 4 for like an extra 50 cents.
I thought ashbeeigh would bring you, since you're roommates and all.
I wondered what she was drinking in those "shot" glasses!
