Is Hill's hand still injured? Surely he can't be worse than Vaughn.
Dirk is abusing Bonner just like everyone else does.
This team flat out sucks. Slow, dumb, and blind.
Now they're getting dogged by mediocre teams as these 1st three opponents are because the Spurs themselves are mediocre at best.
Finley is 20%, missed both his FT's. Guess who is 75% from the field, and 50% from 3?

ing PATHETIC. What is POP doing. I get home to this . We need a win and instead Pop is playing all the guys we hate and we're getting trounced by 18 at the half?
Unbelievable. Guys like Bonner and Vaughn are just hanging on. Hill, Farmer need to get on the court now. These other guys suck. They're not going to get any better. Just wake up Pop and actually play guys that have some potential.
everytime I see Vaughn on the floor, I pray.
he likes to take the ball to the rim, but that guy shld not be given a license to shoot...he makes me cringe......just pass the ball JV

This is some of the worst Spurs basketball I've seen in years.
That '96-97 lottery team played harder then this. They may not have had much talent but they played a of a lot harder than these guys are playing right now on defense. Finley, Bonner, Vaughn those guys should be ashamed of these performances. Get Greg Anderson out here to show them how to throw some weight around.
Who the does J.V think he is? this guy is a scrub, get Hill and famer on court, start Mason, Pop and his man crush for veterans. Pop isn't the coach for a team that needs to get younger becuase he refuses to play youth. Instead he plays Vaughn enough said. The spurs are lottery bound if Pop continues with this .
the pregame show makes a huge deal about Oberto coming back..and POP doesnt even play him....SAD!!! thus leading us to being out rebounded. and POP STARTS BONNER, i swear......quit playing "BOO"nner and Vaughn, put Oberto and thomas in,,make plays for TD and MAson..and play spurs basketball like we have been for the past 10 years.
Bonner is a last desperation player who shud keep the bench and his hands warm for only 5-7 mins of fame at most per game.
yeah, I get JV playing if Hill truly is still even the least bit questionable, but Fab over Bonner is inexcusable. You can't showcase someone effectively if they suck. Even Nellie wouldn't take him. If Bonner doesn't at least get 30% on 3's this game, we should pool our resources for a hitman.
This is a gutless effort.
Pop is not doing them any favors either playing Bonner and Vaughn.
TD needs to step up or TP or it even though he's injured Manu needs to tell Pop to stop playing Bonner and Vaughn. If Finley isn't hitting then he needs to sit on the bench too. Enough is enough.
Im damn glad I made the trips to San Antonio to watch a playoff game every round in 2007. At least I still have those good memories while watching this trash on the court. I wouldn't go to a game now if you gave me a ing helicopter ride to the arena and free courtside tickets.
wow. so far we are worse than what i thought we would be. i knew our team was on the downside if its greatness but damn we are trash.
first half thoughts:

Tony needs to penetrate deeper into the paint before shooting or passing.
too many free throw line jump shots.
JV in at the end of the half? Wtf, Pop? Besides the fact that Tony should have been in for those minutes, wasn't Hill cleared to play last game? The Mavs have followed last year's trend of teams turning us into the San Antonio Jacque Vaughns.
Roger Mason, Jr looks like he has most improved player of the year potential for the Spurs. No joke. It may be early, but he looks ready to go to work this season.
Unfortunately if these kinda halfs turn into a frequent occurrence the Spurs are at the very least have to realize they may have to shorten their rotation a little bit because these (usual)end-of-the-bench players are not cutting it getting 1st and 2nd string minutes.
If this isn't Pop is wiling to force on some of his players then a trade may have to be made.
And finally, I really like that new Spurs HEB commercial

At one moment it looked like Mason was running the point, which made JV's presence even more ludicrous. Just let Mason bring the ball up as the backup point and let Farmer try to make some shots. Something.
Re: Hill, McDonald needs to enlighten us with his condition. The lack of stories re: his health make me think this is just Pop being stubborn.
I don't think Bonner has been as bad as people say. He's gotten offensive rebounds. Dirk would abuse anyone else on the Spurs just as bad.
Kidd is a terrible all-around shooter, but he's actually an above average 3-point shooter..can somebody rotate on him?..
Maybe, or maybe the trimming has unbalanced him, I knew he should've kept the ing beard!!!!!!
