    Your not getting confused with actual 'palming' of the ball by holding it still are you?

    The actual palming call in the NBA is during an actual dribble when the hand goes over a 90 degree angle to the ball, ie carrying it instead of actually bouncing it downward.

    Palming sounds nicer than carrying? Either way, if that is the case, Iverson should be called for that 246 times a season, which is 3 times a game.
