No problem wildbill2u. I would have included the score more often but FSN NW kept losing their scoreboard graphic and they forgot to show the score going into commercials a couple of times, so I wasn't 100% of the score a couple of times and didn't try to post it. The Spurs were blowing out the Sonics so bad that for the most part it didn't really matter anyway.
Ronald "Flip" Murray was a bench warmer on the Bucks that was involved with the Gary Payton/Ray Allen trade to match up salaries. He did pretty well in the Summer League and ended up starting at the begining of last season while Ray was out recovering from ankle surgery. He did a pretty decent job as a starter, and the Sonics were hot at the start of the season. He came off the bench however when Ray came back, and he started trying to do too much with the time he had. He turned the ball over a lot, took a lot of bad shots, and tried to win close games single-handedly, which usually involved dribbling into the quadruple team and turning it over. Actually he's a lot like Devin Brown.
A lot of his early success was due to teams putting together game plans based around Ray Allen and having trouble adjusting to playing Flip Murray instead. That only lasted so long though, and once teams figured out how to play him his effectivness dropped like some kind of lead dropping device that drops very quickly.
He had to overcome some injuries this season and just hasn't really contributed to the Sonics that much this year. He could always heat up again and put up some big scoring games, but I wouldn't look for him in the next All Star Game or two.
now that we have evened the series with Seatle and Houston, let's see we can do so against Memphis, a potential first-round opponent. if so, confidence is much boosted. hopefully Duncan can come back in time to counter Pau Gasol. Sean Marks showed some promise this game. maybe he deserves some minutes after Robert Horry, at least the present time
