Suh is a franchise player in the NFL. He's what you build a defense around. He's 10x better than I thought he was coming in to tonight. Nobody like that with those attributes anywhere else.

He blows Ellis, Dorsey, Raji, and anyone you can name, out of the water. I've wanted a DT for the past 4 seasons. If they get this guy, I'd cream myself. Suh is the best DT prospect I've ever seen(I'm young, but still). He's gonna be a beast. Mark it down.

    My vote goes to Suh.
    Suh isn't a man...he's a beast...he's the DeJuan Blair of college football.

The NCAA desperately needs a playoff. TCU, Cincinnati, and Boise State have done all they could to show they are deserving, but they are cut off from the big prize. Unlike Alabama, Texas did not look like championship material in this game. At least one field goal was on a bad penalty call.

already marked it down. I've never seen domination like that. Dude powered through double teams all night. I feel sorry for the QB of the opposing team Nebraska plays in their bowl game.

At the beginning of the year, I thought he and McCoy were on the same stratosphere. McCoy is good, but nowhere near as dominant as Suh. Suh's a game changer, and probably the most athletic 300+ pounder next to Ngata.

I don't give a how they won..I'm just glad they pulled it off. Great game by Nebraska...I was ting my pants. Horrible clock management, but instant replay got it right. And yes, we have a chance against Bama...they don't have a player like Suh..that guy is the best defensive player in college football, and it's not even close. Bama won't be able to put 7 DBs in the game...it's going to be a different game, and I think UT needed this almost loss to wake them up. It'll be a good game...I'm looking forward to it.
You'd think they would've woken up after that too close for comfort game against TAMU. That, and, ya know, the fact that this was the Big XII Championship game for the right to go to the big dance.

Yeah..you'd think that. But I don't think A&M was getting enough credit. The 2nd best QB in the Big 12...yeah, I said it...and going into this rivalry game a heavy underdog, they were going to fight. That was the game I was most worried about after the Oklahoma State game. And Suh was just ridiculous tonight...Bama just doesn't have anyone like him.

I don't think you've watched enough of these guys. Cody is a nice 2 down player who can stuff the run...McClain is a heck of a player but he's not Pat Willis or anything.

Suh is beyond dominant. Plays every down, while getting sacks AND stuffing the run. He will be the next Kevin Williams, if not better. He's that good.
I never said they were better than Suh. I have seen enough to know that this D is capable of doing what Nebraska did or even be more dominant. So to think this was the toughest defense Texas would face is selling Alabama short. It willbe a defensive struggle at first glance. At least Ohio St. And Oklahoma aren't in the le game, so it should be good.

If Kevin Williams and Haloti Ngata had a baby, thats what Suh is like.

lol seriously tho, I think theres gonna be a bunch of teams trying to trade up for this year.

You need to watch more football then, IM. There's a guy on the Bama D-line who is just as scary as Suh--his name is Terrence Cody. Also, Orlando MacClain is probably one of the best LBs in the country. Should be a good game hopefully.

Not what it sounded like, brosef. It sounded like you said those guys were in the same playground as Suh.

Suh does not need to go to the Raiders and that cesspool of an organization, a ty owner, a psycho coach, among other things.

MANHANDLED? I very highly doubt that. Limited him maybe, but I highly doubt Techs linemen pushed him around and kept him completely out of the backfield.

Two good players who are capable of dominating will beat one who dominated. No matter what Suh did--Texas still won. Suh is a beast...but you have to give credit where it's due, and Cody and MacClain are good enough to be dominant. We will see what happens in 33 days.

    They don't need a playoff, just a +1.

1-4, 2-3 then the winners play for it all.

Nobody after 4 deserves a chance at a le anyway.

TCU wasn't going anyway. BCS would have given it to Cincy because they're a BCS school and their win over Pitt in dramatic fashion. TCU didn't lose a shot, Cincy did.
