At the end of the article, the journalist says that in case of short playoff run, TP will have enough time to rest and will probably go in Turkey.
But in case of deep playoff run, it seems likely to be without TP in Turkey
Nah...
I can't believe it...
Don't understand the guy once he says he will not play because of the next year contract and this year bad experience, then he says he still don't know and now that he has his worst injury of his career he says he wants to play for FNT ?
Is he crazy or what ? Or does he read spurstalk and he wants to play with us ?![]()

Tony Parker you are pissing me off. You better not play! Seriously, he is my fave player, but if Spurs have to trade him then so be it. I can buy a George Hill jersey, and season tickets next year and actually get to watch him play.
Guys I don't know it doesn't make sense, last week he said probably no, now it is I'm still thinking on it.
The journalist is saying "at the end of an interview" but I didn't see this interview and there is no link on this article.
Anyway IMO he won't play: most important is the olympics and I think that most of the nba french players won't go.
Tony parker doesn't rule out to play this summer:
Out for six weeks because of a broken hand TP is asked about wether or not « this injury could change anything about his decision to play with the NT this summer ».
« No, that doesn't change anything, i'm still thinking about playing. »Now we know for sure, the Spurs PG want to go to turkey even though nothing is decided yet. But after a season with a lot of injuries and a tired body, will he really want to go in a few months ? Will the spurs let him go another summer?
They also think the chance of parker playing this summer will increase if he's 100% and the spurs don't go far in the PO.
thanks
If Parker plays this summer, I wouldn't object to SA shopping him around the league. Playing for France seems to be higher on his list of priorities than winning another 'ship so let him be someone else's problem.
Yup Good for Parker, and better for Spurs that they know his intentions and can plan around that.
Free world my ass![]()
I'm guessing his comments are more 'never say never' in design. TP is beat to and probably is smart enough not to throw the best years of his career down the drain, as he's done with most of this season. All this will indeed be a blessing in disguise, if he comes back rested and fit for the playoffs. It's rhythm that concerns me....
