I dont.
I hate when Blair:
- Already knows what he's going to do before he gets the ball in his hands..
- Shoots when he doesn't have an opening or good shot available..
He does both pretty often..
He's always going to get blocked a lot due to his height, but his shot selection doesn't make it any easier..
I dont.
I think Tim already got his scoring and rebound average from the last 3 games.
immediately. Parker is looking like something to eat for rose
Please put Splitter in, Blair can't shoot over ANYONE.
I fully expect the Spurs to struggle some in the first half, but as long as a few guys play well and score, they should open it up in the 2nd half.
Spurs have to really attack their bigs and drive then kick. They can't just stand on the perimeter and jack up shots. They have moved the ball pretty well so far though.
I notice it in almost every GDT. You are always "disgusted" with Blair, but not really anyone else.
He just really needs to work on being more disciplined. He rushes everything and feels he has to shoot every time they pass him the balll. Don't get me wrong, I love the aggressiveness but they're certain times when and when not to use it and he still hasn't figured that out 2 years into his NBA career.
One thing I hate about the Bulls' lineups is Tibbs doesn't play Rose and Korver together enough. That combination would be deadly and space the floor much better because defenders in their right mind wouldn't leave Korver wide open and it gives Rose more room to operate.
This feels like it's going to be close all the way to me.
Anyone notice that when Mark Jackson and Van Gundy had their top PG list, all the people on the list are less accomplished than Parker, yet Parker didn't make either list?
The only players with hardware to hang with Parker are Rondo with his 2 rings and Nash with his 2 MVPs. Parker has 3 rings and a Finals MVP though, so that trumps both.
damn our offense is coming back to reality T.T
Hill has been in that category with Blair so far this season. Everyone else I have been pretty content with there play so far this season.
Blair shooting so much reminds me of what Fisher does on the lakers. Fisher always dribbles up court and pops a shot - missing a majority of them. BUT if fisher can nail those it really opens up the lakers offense. Applying this to Blair, if he can really start hitting these shots, there may come a time where they begin to double him. My train of thought might be too optmistic though.
I wonder if the Law of Averages will be kind to Bonner tonight..
/sigh
Bonner in instead of Splitter
So far Spurs seem distracted and Blair continues to force shots.
Blair is rebounding well against one of the best rebounders in the league. That bodes well for the Spurs.
I was hoping to see some Tiago early....Lets hope Bonner can keep his shot rolling.
It looks liek Bonner is ahead of Splitter in the rotation. I'm not sure if I like that.
yes, our 80% three point shooter in!
Goddammit. Get Korver in there!!
