Would you do this trade... if Antonio was waived and came back to the Spurs.

Apparently Jamario Moon has been added to the Clips with the loss of an unprotected pick from the Clips to the Cavs.

yes, I would. Seems plausible. Def dice has to come back though...I like this trade, good one.
Cleveland traded Mo Williams and Jamario Moon to the Clippers for Baron Davis and a 2011 first round pick.
Moon will now join Rasual Butler as experienced SFs on expiring contracts who aren't going to get any minutes with the Clips. Both will be good buyout candidates after the deadline passes tomorrow.
I really hope the Spurs don't move Tiago. There must be such great temptation, but the kid is going to be a star in this league.
The Spurs have the best front-office in the league. They will not just throw away a talented and defensive minded big man just like that..
Butler would be great. I can't see why the Clips would keep him until the end of the year when he has only played in 10 games since Christmas.
One of Moon of Butler almost has to go. It's pretty pointless to keep 4 SF's on their roster...especially with Gomes and Aminu basically getting all the minutes at that spot.

Rockets-Grizzlies discussions on Battier-for-Thabeet plus pick, reported by Commercial-Appeal, "definitely has legs," source in talks says.

Would be funny to see Battier back with the team that drafted him in 2001
A trade for
1. An older, injury-prone center (Camby), who is threatening retirement, if traded.
2. A talented, international player (Fernandez), who has a well-do ented history of erratic, wild-ass play. A SG who probably still wishes to go back to Spain.
With that said, the first question I would ask is why?
First off, I don't propose any trade that would include giving up Splitter, an unknown quan y, with tons of potential. However, if we're going propose any type of trade with the Blazers, the players to target would be Nic Batum and Joel Pryzbilla - which the Blazers probably would never do.
If Splitter is to be sacrificed, those are the only conversations worth having with the Blazers. Even if the Blazers are finally willing to part ways with Greg Oden, the potential of an Oden/Batum acquisition would be worth consideration and a long conversation.
I've not worked the proposal in the trade machine, but I'd have to imagine such a deal would involve giving up, not only Splitter, but also a player like Hill, along with some draft considerations. Furthermore, I would suggest that any trade involving Oden should include some protection incentives, to mitigate the future risk stemming from his long injury history.
I like how everyone just automatically assumes that some other team wants to trade for Dice so that they can buy him out so that he can rejoin us.
Everyone present and accounted for at spurs practice this morning. FWIW.
Quick prediction: If Spurs do make move (either by trade or buyout), it won't put them in the luxury tax.

Jeff with the bold prediction.
I doubt Spurs do anything. Maybe pick up a guy off waivers but that's it.
No deal yet struck but Cavs/Warriors talking all way to buzzer on deal that could send Jamison back to Oaktown. Link: http://es.pn/h2NIac

Boston has agreed to send Kendrick Perkins to OKC for package that includes Jeff Green, sources tell Y!
I like Jeff Green, but it's a bad move for both teams IMHO

Houston has traded Shane Battier to Memphis for Thabeet and a first-round pick, source tells Y!

Also = OJ Mayo might be traded to Indiana Pacers for Josh McRoberts and a 1st Rd pick - (oh geez)
Makes no sense for either team.
Perhaps OKC management is upset at Green for taking that potential game-tying shot, with as much as 7 secs on the clock in last night's game versus the Spurs?
Wut?
Memphis![]()
WTF?
Boston, are you sure you want to depend on Shaq that much?
OJ Mayo's issues must be a lot worse than we all know if Josh McRoberts and a 1st is all that Memphis can get for him.
The worst part is that they also included Robinson in the deal
I hope for Doc that Rondo has magically improved his outside shooting![]()
Houston just pulled off a nice deal. Aaron Brooks to Phoenix for Dragic + 1st.
