Shot over 60% and still lost the game. Dallas continues to show us why they are a legit contender (because they are tall) and we aren't. Nothing to see here.
Mavs aren't a contender, there D is terrible and they are jump shooting pussies

Dirk has been non-clutch as of late.

That's the last they saw of the second seed.

Lakers didn't even have to play. lol

I am being serious. I know someone said that the Mavs should tank the other day, and neither scenario looks great, but Spurs are a much better match up for DAL than LA.

I hope NO goes on a big skid and drops to 8.
Me too. Blazers and Grizz will be tough first round matchups.

It's going to be the same problem. Dirk is good enough to keep things close any most nights, but the lack of all around talent offensively will hurt. They aren't good enough defensively to overcome that.

I really don't want any part of Dallas in the second round... we'll would end up tired as ... much rather they get bounced out in the first round...

all of those teams give the higher seeds trouble. which is why it wont happen. too perfect. i see portland keeping that 6th or 5th spot for themsleves. although it would be fun to see okc vs por. oden and durants first series agaisnt each other! realistically the two bottom teams are gonna be NO and memphis

Tyson Chandler is just too freaking thin. We need a stronger body in the middle. Players aren't afraid to go right at Chandler. And why no Haywood tonight? Mahimni was terrible.

Yeah, Butler would be enough IMO to make the Mavs a true legit shot. Right now, as is, they just don't have enough to get it done. I see 2nd round at best.

dallas suffers from a problem, although some teams would like to have it. they have depth but its not a good thing. what good is it if you have 2 good players that can play 25 minutes over a great player that can play 35 by himself. chandler is basically camby. good help defense, inflated boards and cannot guard guys with bulk one on one. dallas also lacks a legitimate sg. they havent had one for about 5 years.

They have an aging Kidd and short as backup guards (Barea and Terry). That is what is killing them. Marion coming off the bench helped take care of some of those backup deficiencies. Now with Stevenson (or tired Marion) playing with them, they are completely exposed.

Must win for both teams IMO, will probably be playoff type atmosphere. I think Blazers win a close one with Aldridge & Dirk scoring around 30 each.
& LOL at Dallas shooting 60% & still losing. I knew that "improved" defense wouldn't last long.

Btw I hate to rant about another site but it is frustrating getting verbally attacked every time I say something slightly negative about Dirk even if is true in a lot of cases. DM.com needs to get it together and stop being so Ghazi like. lol
