one million pre-orders in the first day, broke previous records.
now with jobs dead there's no one to step in if apple don't get their together like in the 90s
one million pre-orders in the first day, broke previous records.
people are so dissapointed with the announcement they clicked order while angry. again apple said jump, fanboys asked how high
I still think this is Jobs' carryover. We'll see what Cook introduces next. It can't be underwhelming as this thing. Especially products like iPad that are not tied to a contract cycle.
Yeah this is definitely the 2pac effect imo
I thought I read that Jobs had the next 4 devices or something like that already outlined for Apple to develop so the transition can be smooth.
4 which apple will most likely stretch to 6 or 8
Baloney I say... Tech evolves quickly. I know people like to say the guy was far ahead of the game, but 4 products is almost a 2 year cycle for Apple, and that's a lot of time. We'll see.
LMAO "next 4 devices"
pretty soon Apple fanboys will start believing Steve Jobs has setup an email address at the domain @heaven.com and is conducting business as usual from the afterlife
Wake the up. Steve Jobs is dead. Apple is a sailboat with no captain.
He's still working from heaven, tbh. Here's proof:

Gawwwww
I read that it's ok on the 3GS. If not, I'm coming back here in the spirit of hater. Believe, you, me.......
Wait till monday... update servers are crazy bad right now...
Lol
Took my laptop to the office today
By 2 pm ET I had IOS 5 running on my iPhone 4
wow. i dig it. took about 50 minutes to download. very nice
Yup.
Movies and sound quality seem to be better too
tbh, I bricked my iPhone 4 trying to update today from 1PM EST. Then about at 11PM I finally was able to go through the update servers and do a full restore then restore from a backup.
Now I'm all set, but it was far from smooth sailing this time.
I have a 3GS I got from a friend (screen is ed up on some areas). Dowloading iOS 5 yesterday at 1:30 took only 10 minutes, but I can't install the update. I keep getting these re ed errors in iTunes (most recent one is 1016 error).
The only bump in the road I had was an error occurred during the install. Don't remember the code. I downloaded it first instead of doing the download+install combo deal. I felt I would have less trouble <shrugs> I got that error then just installed again and I was good. The display is a little crisper. Probably just my imagination. Finding stuff out little by little. Definitely not slowing down my phone.
