The AD was clearly involved, and probably pretty deep. No pun intended...
It turned out he had looked up how to destroy a hard drive on his home PC before he disappeared...why would he do that?
No body, no answers. Sends chills down my spine knowing how deep this may go.
The AD was clearly involved, and probably pretty deep. No pun intended...
You're all the over the place on this, D.
You're adorable when you flip-flop like this.
At least your sense of humor over child molestation is still intact.
I don't see anyone on here laughing about what the DA or Penn St may have covered up.
PATERNO!
It is inexcusable to have a crime involving a child reported to you and all you do is follow the chain of command and report it to your immediate supervisor---and then just CLOSE YOUR IN' EYES!
How many other kids were abused because Paterno had no sense of moral justice or balls to do what was right...or to follow up on his report and to check on the child's welfare.
84 in' years old and the piece of did not learn in his whole life except to chase a in carrot and protect his own "legacy".
HIM!
You've no room. You've spent the better part of 3 years downstairs making light of child molestation. Now you want to take exception to it.
You phony , you.
DoK has been switching twixt lhao & taking umbrage.
The thought of me and molestation at the same time has given Cully the hard on viagra couldn't.
I'm flattered.
Show me where I made light of child molestation. I didn't and you can stop lumping me with anyone else.
When you willfully fail to report a crime, you become an accessory to that crime.
When Paterno was made aware of the allegations, he had more to do than just report it to his superiors.
WTF is that, btw? Allegations are made by an eyewitness that a coach is literally fornicating with children in the Penn State football shower/lockeroom, and their first instinct is to follow protocol?!
They should all burn for that ALONE. How much he knew or didnt know means nothing to me...the fact that Paterno was aware of the allegations and simply followed university protocol is damnable, to me anyway.
That goes for everyone else involved, too. The only people who I wouldnt charge the same as Sandusky are those individuals who knew about it and reported it to the police. ie No one at Penn State.
BS. You were right in with the rest of 'em.
D, switching back to jocularity.
tee, hee.
No offense, my man, but its a very real possibility that Penn State will get kicked out of the B10 and that the football program will not survive this. The next coach is the very last thing PSU should be concerned about...like the extremely last thing in the universe.
Penn State may collapse. Especially if it comes out that Sandusky was pimping these children to donor alumni. That would be ins utional child exploitation that no one, not even the mightiest corporations or universities, can come back from.
Think about the logistics involved to pull off a child sex circuit specifically tailored to Penn State alumni. Think about it.
If true, Penn State shouldnt even exist after this.
I am waiting for you to show me...I still don't know what you are referring to...and so far...although we have disagreed on things because we hate each others teams...I have always had respect for you.
Enlighten me on where I specifically made light of child abuse...and how does this relate or pertain to you because I am still dumbfounded as to what you are referring to?
I have to stop posting before I am finished reading the thread.
Absolutely THIS. Unquestionably, unequivocally this. Makes all involved just as guilty as Sandusky, IMO.
I can't believe they're still playing the game this weekend.
Then I am mistaken, Silv. I took it at face value that you were involved in the campaign against me using the pedophile/child molestation bent.
My deepest apologies to you.
That isn't set in stone yet, I would think. If anything comes out about a sex ring, or the media starts pushing the disappearance of the DA, there might not be a game at all. Not that a game is even important in the scope of things, but the thought that "football will go on" in wake of what's happened is patently ludicrous.
And that (laughter) is a very natural reaction to dealing with a situation of this magnitude. Haven't you ever studied Psychology?
Apology accepted...if it matters to you. I see now what you may be referring to and it never interested me either way. None of my beeswax.
I think a death penalty after the season would be fine as the players who aren't responsible would have a chance to transfer and damage to them would be minimized.
Cutting their season short, while just, would be too damaging to the players IMO. It could kill the chances several seniors have at the NFL, and it doesn't give any of the players a chance to go elsewhere.
If they were allowed to continue the season but all the revenue from the games had to be given to some kind of charity it would be a lot better.
Well, me then. s/bells, I thought I had "the Cubby is a pedophile/child molester crowd" by the short hairs. Turns out they can ltao without sanction.![]()
Thank you.
You have a point there. I have never and would never say anything like that to you, and I think it's extremely distasteful of anyone to do so.
