I am not saying being a single parent is not ok. I think that too many times people think of kids as little toys or pets and not as people who will have questions and concerns and feelings.

I know two adult women. Both are single. One adopted a mentally handicapped little boy. A wonderful little family. The other woman had a daughter via a sperm bank. She never fails to mention how tough it is being a single parent when it comes to time and money. The first woman I have yet to hear complain. Is one more ok than the other? In my opinion it is....... the 1st woman was being selfless while the second was and is selfish.
