First day of the Playoffs, two players (Rose and Shumpert) get injured and both are knees. Second day, two players (Splitter and Butler) again get injured and both injuries are close to each other, one is wrist and the other is finger (I think).
It almost sounds like you are comparing him to Beno. Is he getting that reputation with the coaching staff? Now THAT would explain the lack of minutes.

We aren't even sure when he got hurt, and he played with the injury awhile.
I would hope it's a fairly minor injury based on those factors.
SA might be able to navigate the current series if he misses several games, but long term (the entire playoffs) his contribution is pretty important.
If it had happened, we might have seen it. It didn't happen, so we didn't.
Fingers crossed for good news on Tiago. He'll be needed if we're to make a deep run in this year's playoffs.
They are practically in the same area.. Splitter a sprained wrist, Butler a fractured hand.

Wow Skip really does pay attention to the Spurs...He was just saying how Tiago Splitter hurt his wrist and is going for a MRI and said that would be a HUGE blow to the team...then Stephen A responds with Tiagooo Splitterrrrrrrr in his sarcastic voice saying oh whose going to set the pick now
I see but it's kinda weird, four players get injured in just two days. Damn. Hopes that Splitter's injury is not serious.
He will be fine, he will just have to only use right hand to jerk off for awhile.
And they announced that Stephen A will be on First Take every day now.. Perfect reason to not watch that show anymore..
Good God! 5 days of Stephen A and more over-the-top commentary?
Oh no! Colour me gone.
you don't get a championship with chinese porcelain
How about I color your Euro spelling ass lucky to listen to my insightful, informative, insouciant commentary on a daily basis? At the end of the day the Spurs have no one to blame but themselves for getting players with such goofy ass names to play center. Raaaaaaaaasho. Tiaaaaaaaaaaago. What happened to good old fashioned center names like Dwight and Shaquille and Kareem? Quite frankly I'm not surprised that he hurt his wrist having to write a dozen extra A's every time he signs his name.
Tiago is a very popular Brazilian name. In fact Tiago = James in Portuguese.
You mean Da-wight Howard?
How about you getting a new bit? The one you're using has become incredibly tiresome.
fok yo name clown
Pop says it's impossible to say for sure if Splitter (wrist) will be able to play Game 2, but calls him "doubtful."

Lol say that to Jack's face
He will probably miss one game. Makes sense if the Spurs feel like they won't need him to win. If it's the same type of thing I dealt with(sounds like it's pretty similar) then the worst of the initial discomfort only last a couple days. After that it still hurts but more in an annoying way than a debilitating way. I'd be shocked if he wasn't playing in game 3 on Saturday.
Spurs need Tiago to play in Utah regardless of how many minutes he gets those are minutes Duncan does not have to play. Especially if we get the Grizzlies in the second round.
Or this guys.
Injury situation is still murky though; hopefully the MRI results are made available pretty soon
