I don't see anyone stopping the Thunder this year. Durant is too damn good, plus with the favorable officiating, it just seems like a ty, foregone conclusion tbh.
Heat will beat them in the Finals again, tbh...

I know that's the popular opinion around here, but I wouldn't be surprised if LBJ picks up a bunch of ticky tack bs fouls, thereby giving OKC more of an edge. I hope I'm wrong. Sad thing is I'm a huge fan of Durant since college, but I seriously hate that ing team.

I was the same way, huge fan of Durants until the bull started two years ago. The refs have actually made me not like him anymore. Sucks because he's sickly talented but the bull gets in the way from me enjoying his game........ or any game for that matter. At least I got the Harbowl coming up

I think people are too early in dismissing the Spurs chances v the Thunder.

and if they do beat the Spurs, Heat will tap that asss.

The Spurs have no chance because of the refs, the Clippers could easily lose if a healthy CP3 turns out to not be enough to counteract our shaky perimeter D...

OKC winning would be a mild upset ... any of the rest of the top 5 would be a shock ...

I'd still like to see how OKC does against a healthy CP3 who isn't having the worst game of his life...

Fair enough. But Stronger PG's do cause Paul trouble. Im guessing you wguys will cross-match but your best defender has to play Durant. OKC is not unbeatable and I still think Harden will be missed. But as great as aplayer as Paul is those saying he is better or more valuable than Durant are crazy. Without durant OKC is Westbrook (whom I like) doing too much and and a few blocks and mid range jumpers from Ibaka. Durant has improved so much he is narrowing the gap with James unfortunately that gap is still pretty large ...but he scores like a young more efficent Kobe or a McGrady/Bird Hybrid ...

Oh and LOL Blazers ... I dont care what anyone says you could see this kids talent. Also LOL at those that questioned his "frame" ... I dont recall who I was arguing with but I thought he was wiry strong ala Reggie Miller dude has been rarely hurt in his career even without the James physique ...

I know many hate the media hype ... but since my Lakers suck I do hope OKC vs MIA is a Bird/Magic type rivalry. that was one of the best eras ever ...

Plus even then the Sixers, Rockets and Pistons still broke through to a Finals or even a LOB here and there. I think the NBA could use it with Celts and Lakers on the decline ...
