Ok now let's play Guess the Size of Duncan's Knee Brace when he comes back. I say they will come with two extra femurs strapped to his left knee.

God was with Tim in that moment. Amazing all he got out of that was a sprain. His knee ligaments have to be like Dirk's ankle ligaments.

As a Niners fan, thank GOD the news on Timmy was good, cuz if it wasn't... think I would've just cried myself to sleep.

Despite not playing the ASG, Duncan still needs to travel to Houston, I suppose.

Enjoy the break, at the sideline with Pop without worrying about "substantial sanctions".
Some of you people are hilarious. He's listed as day to day, and you think he's missing the ASG in two weeks?

I am happy and I told you that I did not expect something as serious as an ACL tear.

But for everybody who is talking about that Punisher knee brace - he is definitely not wearing that huge brace during the game and puts a soft one over it. If he really has something under the soft brace, it has to be a smaller ... the Punisher brace is huge and putting something over that would look pretty ridicolous ...

I second the question though - any news about Baynes?

I still don't know how TD just walked that off ......
If his ankle doesn't bend like that, I think his ACL/MCL is torn.. Church of Tim should never need resurrection, but here we go.

So you don't think the big black wrap covering up half of his left leg in that picture is huge? lol

I'd just hold Tim Duncan out until after the All-Star Break. That'd give him a 17-day break between games. I know there's no structural damage but you gotta think a knee bending like that would make it more susceptible to injury in the short-term.

Let him rest that thing, try to get out of the All-Star weekend and then begin the second half push after the break. IMO, at least.

WRONG-If he was only wearing a soft brace, then this would be a thread about Tim possibly retiring. A soft brace, no way in , could have prevented the force from tearing ligaments in his knee. It's custom fitted. You can see it here. Examine the pic and then tell us how ridiculous it is to think that his knee could survive the forces at play without a custom-fitted carbon fiber and metal brace in play.

I do not see him in the first LEG of the RRT

But if I were to choose I'd pick Brooklyn and Cleveland b4 ASB
