Yeah, those bike cops guys are fearless. Or at least that one was. Thats actually a job I'd love. Being a cop and being able to ride a bike all over the place all the time.
That's what I thought.![]()

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I will never pull over for a freaking bike cop.
If he manages to catch me in a high-speed chase on a bicycle, then I deserve to not pass Go, not collect 200 dollars, and go straight to jail.
Yeah that bike cop flashed all types of lights at me and made that little "ching, ching" with the handlebar but I pretended I didn't see him and drove off.
In college and high school, I got like fifteen parking tickets through the years. But since I never registered my car with the school, I figured that they'd never go through the trouble of figuring out who I was.
I was right.
....damn.
Here I thought I needed a freaking parking permit.
....I'm such a sucker. Hoover should be paying me royalties.
I spend a LOT of time on one of the most boring stretches of interstate in Texas - that being I-10 between San Antonio and Houston (family lives in Houston) - and I have no cruise control. Which is why I have two speeding tickets on that stretch of interstate since I moved here in 2002 going 90 the first time and 88 the second.
I should, however, have taken my first ticket to court, because the cop actually got in my passenger seat before I had even taken my do ents out of the glove compartment - so I had to reach over him .. a little awkward - they're not even supposed to get in your car. But I was stupid, and didn't think about it until after I had already paid the ticket and taken defensive driving. I hope that Seguin cop got busted for something eventually, the bas .
Do you people ridicule Bike Cops more than Regular Cops?
For me it goes:
Tahoe Cops (this includes any uncessary suv too)
Motorcycle Cops
Regular Cops
Bike Cops
Street Cops (these guys actually do serve the public trust more often)
Yeah, never get a parking permit with a school that doesn't employ actual San Antonio cops. The chances of them going through the trouble of tracking you down to give you a ten dollar ticket is close to zero.
What about horse cops?
DOH!!! i knew i was forgetting one...okay it goes
Tahoe Cops (pompous bas s)
Motorcycle Cops
Regular Cops
Horse Cops
Bike Cops
Street Cops (good guys)
actually the only reason to ridicule a bike cop other than their apparant stupidity is those shorts...
its all bull .
ps...speeding doesnt kill, its not knowing how to properly handle the speeds that does the killing.
and as far as cops, there are good and bad. the bad are the ones we remember and forget about the good.
however, cops themselves speed a lot of the time for no other reason than to speed....that in and of itself is the reason I find it highly hypocritical half the time in regard to speeding tickets.
but at least they arent meter maids who really are the s of the earth.
He may not be able to catch you...all he has to do is get your plate #....and then send a patrol vehicle to wait for you at your house. Not that hard.
Then you risk of getting charged with evading....
My first offense in the state of Texas was when i was lighting a cigarette, did a rolling stop at a stop sign, got pulled over for running the stop sign and was only 17 so got a TOBACCO MIP too....
Then the ing cop was like do your parents know you smoke? Do they allow it? Well then you just go right on ahead and smoke in your house, smoke all you want, just don't let me catch you.
I was like so i can break the law all i want, and you're okay with that, just as long as I dont-get-caught!! genius!!!
i hate cops
I don't have a license plate on the frontside of my Thunderbird, so if I ever happen to come across the situation, I'll just have to be sure to speed away in reverse!![]()
Are you in Texas? If so, that a 'ticketable' offense. In Texas, both license plates are required.
Something tells me ZStomp is going to make a bunch of traffic cops happy with all these posts.

I don't ridicule any Officers.
oh ya....that stretch of 151 is 45 and its really stupid, especially considering they drop it about 2 miles befroe the curve.
ZStomp laying down the law!!
For the record, my family is full of cops so I've never understood the cop-hate.
mookie2001's dad is a world class cop, and he hates cops with fiery passion unlike any other..
My family are cops in Phoenix, not Texas .. maybe the cops are cooler there.
Ok, here's the deal with DA. For the City of SA you can get DA if you haven't had a ticket in 90 days, and the DA will only count of you don't get another in the next 90 days. A ticket that was going to cost me $209.00 in fines, cost me only $188.00 to have a lawyer go down to the courthouse for me and file a DA for me. They send me the paper work and the ticket doesn't go on my record. Defensive driving is fine and dandy, but you can only take it once a year and it can cost nearly as much as the lawyer. DD also takes more time to complete than just dealing with the lawyer. If any wants the name of the lawyer I used, just PM me.
