yall wanna hate on bargs but i bet you cant make a mix like this for tiago and he wants 7-8 mill

plus bargs has averaged 20+ ppg in his career.....
hes been hurt but move him to pf and pair him with tyson he wont have to worry about rebounds
No wonder the spurs didn't want him...he dunks too much
Bargnani has very good athleticism for a big, very good handles. His problem on why he could never take the step into a legit top offensive option is because he never developed his mid range game. He can obviously shoot the 3, he can get to the rack and finish very well and he nail free throws. But his in between game is bad.
His defense (outside of the occasional post defense play) is bad and his rebounding is beyond awful.
monta ellis.... damn
Loved Ellis in GS but not for the Spurs.
monta ellis is like Gary Neal that take 15 more stupid shots.
This dude is a selfish ball-hog. At least Neal looks to pass the ball.
Tyreke Evans is a much, much better option for S&T over Ellis.
Ellis can create his own shot while Tony is takin a breather!
Ellis will want more than 10M, do the Spurs really have that money.
, J.R. Smith is a better option than Ellis. At least he has legit size to play his natural position.
Of course, effing Blazers.
At this point, I'll take anything over going back into next season with the exact same team, only with Tim and Manu being a year older. If Monta Ellis is a realistic possibility, then you go for it. He can can score the ball and take a lot of pressure off of Tony who, right now, is our only reliable shot creator. Just depends on his asking price, which I'm sure will be way too high.
Anything over 7M a year is too much for Ellis.
someone will give him 12M
That's close to what he would've gotten if he stayed with the Bucks. But he turned that down knowing he wasn't going to get that on the open market. I wouldn't go over 7M a year for an undersized inefficient scorer. But some G.M will look at his inflated stats and probably give him 9M-10M a year. If a G.M gives Ellis 12M a year, he won't have a job for very long tbh.
Which is incredibly dumb. But yea, you're probably right.
Spurs draft-and-stash their first round pick for cap space and kept Matt Bonner.![]()
