Why doesn't Pompeo just go over and swear her in for president now--if he goes on like this he'll practically get her elected

Ever since the McCarthy gaffe, everything has worked out for Hillary (debate, Biden, & now this hearing). She even seems more likable now.

So first Fox News cuts from Benghazi hearing, then Ed Henry comes on and says HRC passed the test. That’s the message to Fox News viewers.
kathleenparker @kathleenparker
Any claim that this isn't political is absurd on its face. Congrats, Republicans.
Jazz Shaw @JazzShaw
Jesus, I spend half my day criticizing Hillary Clinton and even I find this set of questions embarrassing.
Today was not a Select Committee Hearing
It was a HRC campaign stop.
So is the hunt over or are they supposed to pick up with Day 2?
"bipartisan report" is an interesting choice for twitter handle given their content
False narratives are cool, as long as a (D.) is attached to them.

Rush Limbaugh looked into the tea leaves on his Monday show and predicted the whole thing was “going to be a giant nothing burger.”
It is going to be a giant nothing burger. The Democrats will waste as must time as possible praising Hillary for her cervix. Yes I meant that. You think I meant to say service, right? No, they’re going to praise her for being a woman. It’s a big deal now. She’s a victim. It’s the reason she’s running. To be the first woman. So they’re going to praise her cervix. What else is there? When you’re talking about that to praise. They can’t mention the wig. So they’ll praise her — okay, okay, I’ll say service. Just to smooth it over.

Repugs are as much misogynist as they are nativist, racist, white supremacist
Joe Miller,
the Tea Party darling who five short years ago was a Republican nominee for U.S. Senator from Alaska,
spent a recent segment of his weekday radio show explicating a theory that
transgender advocates were going to use magnets to alter the brain chemistry of Christians.

NO ONE gives a about it?? It's been in the news for 3 years, and there was an 11 hour Congressional hearing on it yesterday that was the top trending topic on Twitter for half of the day.
They were wrong about that and said they were wrong.
What is the REAL scandal, Darrin?
Use your words, not snarky YouTubes.
Hillary Clinton And George Bush’s Testimony On Terrorist Attacks, Compared

Conservatives ridicule GOP Benghazi committee members: Hillary is too smart for them
...u niformly “loved her, hated them” — even among conservatives.
Writing for the New York Post, longtime conservative commentator John Podhortez praised Clinton’s performance.
“Simply as a matter of political theater, over the course of many hours of testimony, Clinton performed brilliantly,” he wrote. “She assumed a calm, deliberate demeanor with her opening statement and never surrendered it. The more she sounded like a policy wonk, the less she seemed like what the Republicans clearly wanted her to seem like: a cynical political animal.”
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, host and former GOP congressman Joe Scarborough called it a “technical knock out” for Clinton with regular Mike Barnicle adding, “If this committee had handled the Watergate hearing, Richard Nixon would have finished his term.”
Nothing however will sting the members of Gowdy’s committee like ultra-conservative commentator Erick Erickson calling the whole exercise a “waste of time,” while adding Clinton is “too bright” for them.
Writing on his personal blog, Erickson said there are still questions about Benghazi but that this committee is not the one to turn to for answers.
“The hearings are a waste of time
because everything about it is politicized and
nothing is going to happen.
There will be no scalp collection.
In fact, it is clear from today’s hearing that Trey Gowdy and Peter Roskam seem to be the only two people on the committee of either party who are capable of asking exacting, precise questions. Most of the rest of the committee just wants to grandstand for the folks back home as either prosecutors of or defenders of Hillary Clinton,” Erickson wrote.
He continued, “Mrs. Clinton too is far too bright to be trapped in this or any questions. There have been some, by Trey Gowdy typically, that have clearly caused Mrs. Clinton to be flustered, but the long term effects of that will be to make her a martyr to her own side.”
Erickson continued to defend Gowdy, but later took another shot at Reps. Susan Brooks (R-IN), Jim Jordan (R-OH), Mike Pompeo (R-KS), Martha Roby (R-AL), and Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) calling them “a carnival road show of back bench congresscritters playing to the cameras.”

Here's what mattered to their investigation:
•On Blumenthal's alleged business activities in Libya: more than 270 questions
•On Blumenthal's relationship with Clinton: more than 160 questions
•On the Clinton Foundation: more than 50 questions
•On David Brock/Media Matters: more than 45 questions
Here's what didn't matter:
•On the Benghazi attacks: less than 20 questions
•On security in Benghazi: only 4 questions
•On the U.S. presence in Benghazi: 0 (zip, nada) questions
•On Ambassador Stevens and other U.S. personnel in Benghazi: 0 (zip, nada) questions
