As much as Dallas was a good prep for us against Portland, I fear that this series against Portland is disastrous for us in preparation for OKC. It appears certain to me that the refs are guaranteeing a WCF finals appearance, and their defense is long, strong and effective. Watching them play the Clips in the Clips own building is painful.
If we play OKC in the WCF and the series is reffed as this one is, we will lose, and it will be ugly. Moreover, besides losing, I worry that we might get our players hurt, seriously. OKC is hacking and slapping and bumping like crazy and getting away with it on the other teams home court. Not a good omen.
SHUT
IT
DOWN
Sincerely,
Willie Anderson #40
The Spurs don't deal well with physicality unfortunately. You can't rely on the refs to bail out. You have to go hard and force them to make the calls. On the other end you have to hit back.
This might end up being one of the shortest "chronicles" threads ever, come Monday...
a tribute to the OP?
He should make all the "chronicles" threads from now on...
This is real game thread. amused
As expected Batum on Parker since the very beginning.

Spurs look like crap. Blazers may win the second half again
Damn, this Blazer fan apparently missed his meds last night.
