Jordan is now the best center they have and Swaggy is the best SF they have, so the Lakers starting lineup as of now:

    C: Hill
    PF: Randle
    SF: Swaggy
    SG: Kirby
PG: Nash/Lin (Nash will be in a suit by December)

    Bench: Sacre, Clarkson, Marshall

    And still no coach.

Kobe's gonna score a lot of points this season.

Not gonna win too many games, but lots and lots of points.
Wait for Kobe homers to spin this as a "proof" that Kobe is still the best SG and a top 5 player in the league. The other teams will just let Kobe get his, don't even bother with someone whose goal is stockpiling points, shut down all the other players and take the win. And the win is all that matters. But over there at Kobeground they will be too dumb to understand it.

    1) Bigs get paid. Injury proneness aside, Jordan is serviceable.
    2) Tiago ter at ~$9M is a poison pill for a backup big.
    3) Without Diaw, Kang is still in South Beach and Tammy shining shoes
    4) I don't think the 2nd year of Jordan's contract is guaranteed.
    5) ter is a scrub. Yet Pop paid him millions. Where's the outrage with det?
    Splitter isn't a scrub.

    I never did. Never.

I use to rail against Pop for playing that sack of of Bonner over him in 2011-12.

I believe you're selling me a bill of goods, but, I ain't got the patience to go back in the stacks to locate the proof.

Nope. But you made the claim, so the burden of proof is on you.

I use to have a Splitter signature once-upon-a-time.

Against the likes of defensive stalwarts like Bosh e and Turdman:

    6.2ppg (S)
    3.4rpg (C)
    .6bpg (R)
    1.8fpg (U)
    1.2tpg (B)
    16.58PER (!)
    $9.25M (!)

Best big man defensive rating on the team in the Finals. Splitter is a great PnR defender and a tough man defender, holding you best big man in the game Fat Gasol to a .397 shooting percentage in the 2013 WCF.

He serves a key role on the Spurs. You wouldn't know that because of your box score watching, though.

Going back to last year to muster up something good to say, eh? My numbers are from a few weeks ag
Not too hard to play decent for 17mpg

    Small Market. $9.25M rle player.

Meanwhile his replacement parlayed his good play into improbable beatdown of the cHeat. AND a new contract. Not $7M, Not $8M, Not $9M thugh like ter

I'll be boxscore watching again - despite being back in the states - because we'll suck ass again.

That doesn't sound like a very devoted fan. You should watch Kirby play out his last days.

With today's lack of legit bigs with legit post moves, Splitter is just a big body you can throw at today's soft jump shooting bigs and get solid results at the defensive end and that's about it.

Reminds me of Kwame tbh, big body, played decent defense but a complete scrub at every other facet of the game.

Not gonna spend my hard earned cash on that roster. Kobe ed the Lakers up with The Extension!. I say seeing his last days every night. I got TNT, BSPN, and ABC. If they show the Lakers, I'll watch. If not, 'em. We're in this storm because of Fredo and KobePERID. They're getting their money anyways.

No. Just because I wasn't on ST, doesn't mean your schtick has any merit, other than being funny.

That's because we never saw "every other facet of the game" until Phil insisted beyond all reason.
