And THAT is the main problem IMHO, the fanatics on BOTH sides of the issue.
The rest of us get along just fine, no problems, no one forces their beliefs or disbelief on anyone.
The fanatics however do, and we have a disproportionate share of them posting on this site, who make lunatic claims of believing in magic or of being delusional simply because we have chosen to believe in God, or do not.

And when you try to reason with them and explain or merely discuss your belief, they counter with "you are melting down, you are delusional, you believe in magic".
That is so immature and juvenile that they must be kids, not adults, because adults do not act this way, unless they are fanatics, regardless of which side they are on, adults get along admirably.
