If Dumbjohn could understand this simple point...we then could have an intelligent conversation.
Conference domination implies they are dominant relative to every other conference, re . Obviously it is impossible for every single team to win a NC within a 5-10 year span.
I know what teams Saban and Meyer won with. The point is...what conference do those teams play in?

the conference isn't dominant dumbass. It's one coach now dominating.
The reason why everyone (mainly the media) sucked off the SEC is because, in a ten year period, 4 different teams won the NC. That is the definition of a dominant conference. You say that Saban and Meyer dominated the conference....yet you leave out two teams that actually won the NC.
Name me one conference that had four different National Champions in a ten year span.
2014 belongs to the Pac12.
lol dominant conference with Saban and Meyer making up 6 championships. That is not conference dominance.
yeah....without a ing playoff! this year has been a perfect example. with no playoff, alabama dominates florida state in the bcs and everyone sucks off the alabama sec crimson tide for dominating thetoughest most hardest hitting ruthless conference in the country
then
beating the defending champs
Instead, teams actually have to prove themselves, and lo and behold, we have a championship game in which the mighty SEC won't be represented. What a country.
So the LSU and Auburn championships don't count ???
Can't argue with your "now there is a playoff" line. It's a fair/legitimate argument....
So every single National Championship before this year should have an * beside it????
If you take away the 6 between Saban and Meyer, no one is talking about SEC dominance with just those two. (Auburn, LSU)
Its funny how these idiots actually think the BCS was set up to favor the SEC. Where was this SEC bias when Miami, Oklahoma, Texas, USC , etc were the ones winning NCs? Like I said all this whiny is a defense mechanism to try to combat the SEC's dominance.
How many times have you moved the goalposts today? Your back alright?
, the dude making the thread laughing at the SEC as well is the one who lost to a lower ranked SEC team.
You say a conference can't be dominant from top to bottom, then post about SEC dominance when 1 or 2 guys are responsible for winning![]()
What don't you get about 4 different teams winning? It's not that difficult.....
BTW...how many Touchdowns did Saban and Meyer score those years?
Jesus, 2 guys have 6 out of 8 les during that time. Not sure how an entire conference gets credited .
Fans who live in a glass house shouldn't throw stones. I have to admit that the SEC sucked ball this bowl season, but the fact this thread was started by a Big 12 fan is pretty surreal.![]()
4 teams isn't an entire conference. Saban and Meyer dominated. Malzhan had Scam Newton. Has he won since? What about Les Miles? No, the number 1 team in the SEC on a year in and out basis is coached by who?
Dominant relative to the other conferences. Does your little brain not know what that means? The SEC 'only' had four teams win it all and the rest of the conferences combined didn't have a single one.
That's dominant to anyone with a normal sized brain, dumb .
1. Moving the goalposts. 4 teams is not an entire conference.
2. Actually USC, Texas, and Florida State won, so that is more than a single one![]()
1. I was referring to 06-12 which is what got the SEC the reputation it has. Either way since '06 it's seven for the SEC and one for everyone else. Two after Monday.
2. You don't know what relative to other conferences means, do you?![]()
google it and get back to me when you figure out what it means, otherwise the joke is on me for going back and forth with a legit re
unleashbaynes help him out brah, that'll probably get you some brownie points w/ the e-crew
You said not a single one. Do you know how to count?![]()
During that span, go back and look at bowl game history. The SEC won over 80% of them. Look at non-conference games vs SEC opponents during that span. It's not just about the NC's. No conference other than the SEC has more than one champion while the SEC had four.
Glad to see you acknowledge the entire conference was never dominant, just Saban and Meyer![]()
