Parker is passable for us, though not much of a passer. He still handles the ball respectably and minimizes mistakes. Plays within the system for the most part.
Can't say we're better unless there's someone better to take his spot, and right now there isn't.
Parker is right after Manu who creates the best pick-and-rolls/pops on the team - Mills never does that stuff (may be because he is with Manu on the floor most of the time). Parker has a better two points shooting % after pick-and-rolls with a big - Mills dont like to shoot two pointers off the screens, at least I dont remember he took at least a dozen this season. Parker can't create his own shot without a good screen but he can certainly make a lay-up in 5-on-5 positional offense and I've never seen Mills penetrating and scoring (5-on-5 offense), only penetrating and passing. Parker runs the system better than Mills but it's really hard to know for sure when u play with Manu. Mills is a better one on one defender and the fastest on the team, but how that speed gonna work if he can only shoot mid range and 3 pointers. Healthy Parker over Mills all day every day but it's all about matchups today. Mills against Paul and Curry will do better imo.
How does their pay correlate with the fact that Patty was a non factor in the first two series of the 2014 playoffs. Without Parker we would've lost to the Mavs, and Patty would've never had a chance to prove himself in the finals.
