I've seen nothing that leads me to believe sexuality is a born trait. And if you can find me any actual evidence that is let's see it.
I agree with some of what the doctor says that it's mostly a psychological"disturbance" mental illness that causes you to like the same sex. My first girlfriend( when I was 18-20) who was lesbian/bisexual, was sexually molested by her older step brother when she was 9-11 years old. He started by giving her weed, then he moved to giving her alcohol, seroquel/xanax, and she said he started becoming violent and threatening her with killing everybody if she didn't continue with the sex. She said that ed her up bad and that's the reason that contributed towards her sexuality. It also didn't help that her parents where pot smoking/cocaine snorting losers who neglected their kids.
One of my male cousins is an ex- sexual. His father neglected him and left his mom to start another family and I think that deeply affected him in a lot of ways. Also it didn't help him that he thinks he has a small and can't please a women. He's a fat dude with a normal size but the fat covers most of his inches leaving him with only 3 visible inches. He went to therapy for this and wanted to get an operation because he taught he had micropenis and it turned out he has a normal size 5 incher, so the doctor refused and told him to loose weight and that his problem is psychological. I guess watching too much porn could you up psychologically and turn you gay? My sister, who worked for CPS for like 15 years, told me of a case of neglected children(mother was a stripper/pros ute drug addict) where the oldest brother (aged 12) would sexually molest his younger siblings ( two younger boys aged 6,8 and a girl 10) because their mother would leave them all day by themselves and they would watch gay/straight porn and would imitate the actors. They also where all smoking weed because the mother would bring it to the house.
The only people who are true sexuals are intersex people where their chromosomes went haywire and they both male/female. But this condition is very rare and there's probably only like about 10 actual people suffering from that in a world of 7 billion.
No it's not, when you choose to do drugs you were well aware of what could happen.

What's different is knowing the consequences of your actions. Not only have I taken MANY classes on drugs and drug addiction but I spent years working with addicts. I have been around them firsthand.
You make the choice to smoke cigarettes. This isn't the 30s, people know what could happen to them. Hardcore drugs like heroin and cocaine... c'mon man. Unless you are drugged and fed those drugs against your will, you know what the results will be.
So, yes the are two different things but you set yourself up for that outcome.
True. But nobody smokes their first cigarette in high school with the expectation of being a pack-a-day guy. I'm not calling their decision smart. But addiction isn't a choice. You don't "choose" to become addicted. You just become addicted. There is never that moment you make the conscious decision of "OK I've been doing this drug recreationally for a couple of weeks now, time to develop an addiction." Rather, you just feel it when it hits you
What you're suggesting is that anybody who checks their phone while driving chooses to get into an accident.
You've already admitted several things that lead me to believe you really don't get out in the real world much. You're an old timer. You've been stuck out in some podunk area of California for sometime now living in your man cave with a bunch of books and music.
So it doesn't surprise me that you don't have much to go on other than this thing with your cousin. As most old farts are, you're stuck in your ways and are probably not going to change your mind, regardless of how much evidence (anecdotal or scientific) is put in front of you.

I spent 4 years in the military, over 30 as a traveling salesmen. Played city league football and know far more people than you do.
I go with what I've seen from Hong Kong to Mexico to Seattle Washington to Reno Nevada and all points in between. I wandered the state of Cali for 10 years, woke up many times with...what was her name and where am I at?

Not saying that it can't be. What I am asking if this is his reason for all gay people becoming that way. Since he is comparing it to drug addiction. Or is he saying that addiction is always there and needs a catalyst to bring it out? If that is the case then it still doesn't jive since those addicts that don't KNOW they are addicts could not be compared to a gay person.
All I am saying is that you can't compare drug addiction with sexuality. Unless you are saying that there is something wrong with their programming.

They all look sick by the time their in their early 20's and old by 35. The steriods and plastic surgery/hvi meds only do so much to maintain a youthful appearance. Ingesting semen and taking it up the ass when your a man s you up biologically because men can't absorb semen the way a women does. It s up your immune system.

You can't get HIV from gay sex if your partner didn't have it in the first place. Gay sex doesn't just magically create HIV
