Definitely. Plus Delfino is/was a much more polished driver and finisher. Also, Delfino main defensive asset was quick hands, Garino is more of a built-tough, good footwork defensive player.
So is Garino.

wtf - senseless as the 40yd in nfl.
Played quite well tonight against France (Manu too)
His greatest asset is clearly defense, but he can also shoot the 3/cut nicely on offense, I like the signing and can't wait to see what he does in the preseason
Wish we could get Delfino for two years, tbh... he looks so damn good after basically not playing for 3 years... wonder what his rights situation is on the NBA...
Delfino and Nocioni to the Spurs pls

I think the last best chance for Nocioni to join the Spurs was when they reportedly talked to him after they cut SJAX.
To resume, he says he is happy with the Cordoba experience, now that he has the NT and Spurs is he nervous? he said that its better to not think too much about it.
About not making it to the draft... he felt a bit disappointed at the beginning but at the same time he thinks it could be a positive thing because by being undrafted he was able to be on any team and thats how the Spurs deal came.
Had expectations about some team being interested in him before the olympics? He said he was sure some deal was gonna happen.
He also heard about Spurs rumors at the Dallas airport and said Spurs are the perfect team for his game and wants to try his best no matter its the D-League or SA to win Pop´s trust.
Q:Tell me what's been happening to you in the last 20 or so days.
PG: A lot of things. A lot of different situations, the draft, the summer league, the national team. Now in the last two days, a lot of things in my mind, but happy, very happy to be living this dream.
... <couple of questions about the current NT tournament omitted>...
Q: You're headed to the NBA, just signed a contract, how do you deal with all that?
PG: You have to be calm, I try not to overthink what's going on. It's a step by step approach, something came up with the Spurs right in the middle of this, I enjoyed it greatly, but now I'm back here with my mind on Rio.
Q: Tell me what went through your mind when you couldn't enter the draft. Did you think your chances were drifting away from you, did it disappoint you?
PG: There was certainly some disappointment early, definitely hit me a bit, but at the end of the day, that might've actually been positive for me, since I was basically a free agent to talk to any team, and now this possibility opened up for me.
Q: How much do you think your play in the Summer League had to do with all this?
PG: I suppose quite a bit, I did good there, it helped my game, and that's when I realized that probably would open some doors for me.
Q: Were you expectant that perhaps a team would call before the Olympic Games?
PG: I don't know about expectations, but I never lost hope that I would get this opportunity at some point, before the Olympic games, during or after. I was confident that some doors were open, and something was going to work out.
Q: At what point did you hear the magical word: "Spurs"
PG: At the Dallas airport, I received that information, which went somewhat unnoticed for a while.
Q: Is this more than what you dreamed of?
PG: I don't know about more, it's just a great situation, that franchise is probably a great mold for me as a player, and I really didn't think twice about it.
Q: Why the Spurs?
PG: Well, Manu mentioned something early, but nothing official, and then my US agent called me and told me about the offer.
Q: Do you know what your role is going to be?
PG: First thing is to earn the trust of the coaching staff, and the franchise. It's my first professional contract, the first time I'm going to be playing for a professional team, so I have to earn their trust and do things as best possible.
Q: Are there chances that you're going to start off from the D-League or that you could make the main team?
PG: Both. There's still a spot open on the team, or maybe I'll go to the D-League, but either of those opportunities are important.
You were extremely detailed... but you forgot about Cordoba![]()

By the way, I saw most of the Oberto´s tribute but since I was talking I missed some important parts, who said Fabricio was the best player ever?
Actually, it was "the worst best player ever", but it really was: "He's the ugliest productive player I've ever been around,"

Oh they were quoting what Pop said long time ago then, missed the Peor part
Here is the video in case someone missed it
Well said. Comfortable playing in the D-league to improve his game. Also interesting how he says summer league improved his game. I guess the college game must be so much less compe ive than even Summer League. If that's so, no wonder so many college players become busts in the NBA, they all need a couple of years of seasoning in the pros.
Dat Fernet Brancadat some highly concentrate of bitterness... dear god. I had to pour 2 cocas in it so I could actually drink it...
Fernet is an acquired taste tbh
I used to like Fernet. Now I can't stand it.
it requires dedication and effort...I'm too old for that
Legend says that Argentina saved Branca from bankruptcy

I wasn't actually going crazy.
Delfino as a rotation player in the NBA has attempted MORE than 50% of his shots from 3 & driven when he got run off the line. He has basically been Ariza in a Rockets uniform status with a LOWER FT rate which is far from being regarded as a scorer.
Garino is basically going to be asked to be a 3 & D guy who can actually dribble-drive unlike Danny.
I guess you could say he would be the 2-guard version of Nocioni otherwise dude weighs 203 (lighter than 21 yr old Klay) so he can't play the same role as a hybrid forward.
