I blame the demise of the Cards as having a lot to do with how inconsistant and sometimes sluggish Seahawks in 2016. They knew they had that weak division won long ago, so they had a hard time bringing it every week. The Cards were 1-3, they were 3-4-1. The Seahawks 3-1, 5-2-1 and knew it was over.
Look, I'm sorry that you were wrong and I was right about your Saints but....chirping...aren't you a bit old for that silliness?
While losing Lockett hurt the emergence of Paul Richardson*** kinda off sets that.
Then there's this guy who is coming back I think.
Talk about a blessing in disguise. Because of his injuries RW was forced to become more of a traditional pocket passer, which only enhanced his game.
His career stats after five season as good as it gets.
Thomas Rawls 100%, Jimmy Graham, the emerging Paul Richardson***, and the mercurial Doug Baldwin and just maybe that stud above. Not bad.
They also have a guy who was great at USC named George Farmer, not sure what his story is.
*** yes it does take more than one game to get a true read.
