    It's fine. Paul Pierce just retired. I'm sure he'd be happy with that $9 million a year. While we're at it, we can sign someone from the 3 on 3 league.

    If that was the case I would be against signing any wing and I'm not, in fact I endorse signing as many wings as we can. I'm not even against signing Simmons. I'm just against overpaying for his scrub ass, tbh.

    He's hot garbage. He'll be on some team and beast on the Spurs when we play them but he's not going to improve much if any. Still a decent defender and should be able to make retirement level money for a few years in the NBA.
