Yes, but Lonzo is on a pretty low contract and Ingram has plenty of upside also on a low contract. Younger players, Ingram could be an all-star someday.
Aparently he does not have to do anything to earn his 19 mil. He just quit on the team, and this is the reason to be crucified

Why did he come back for 9 games if he quit on the team? You people are delusional.
I just read Kawhi is trading and say WTF?
Nah. I don't give a about Skip, Kawhi has the real s supporting him
And another mention. Are you my hoe? Stop calling me every f*cking day![]()
Your logic doesn't make sense, Rob..first you claim it's because he's hurt, then you claim it's the roster..if it's the roster, then why did he return for those 9 games?
I believe that he thinks he's hurt, but the roster argument is dumb as ..
As I understand it he feels like he was brought back too early and it was after those 9 games that all the drama started.
Nope, that's because you are one of the closest people to him..You literally reach to his butthole to wipe it every day..![]()
Good one!
I'm actually just trolling with the roster argument tbh. I really believe he's injured.
Damn...This is good.
At least he's having a great time there...![]()
I do not know about the trade request, but I have been speculating for weeks that he has been invited to stay away. I think that seems very likely.
Would not have much respect for him if he did want to leave sa. But would have more if he would just speak up on the issue and give regular updates himself. Seems like a terrible pr move.
I have doubted Spurs would do that but if there's an imminent divorce, then the separation can be mutual but I always have thought it's Kawhi.
Since the team meeting that Kiwifan says angered him was described as teammates imploring him to play. Danny denied it was emotional but they never denied begging or asking him to actually play. I don't think teammates asked him out or PaTFO. They have wanted him to play all year. This one to me is all Kiwi
Kawhi injured his vocal cords last summer.
Seriously, he has been completely disengaged all season. How many possible explanations are there? Even when he was on the bench, his feigned support of his "teammates" looked like a complete put-up job.
I feels like things got worse after the Nike deal fell through. Could be wrong.
So...fans on ST want him to play, NOW??
The same fans who were making multiple threads -when the Spurs had the easiest Schedule in the league- to say this team didn't need Kawhi??
"LMA is a way better offensive option than him...DJ is surpassing Kawhi's defense...Kyle is improving...Just use Pau as playmaker over Kawhi, he has good chemistry with LMA...Who needs him??"
SURPRISE...Without him, we're just .
Who the said the Spurs were better without Kawhi?what kind of shtick are you running?
I hope you aren't refering to Play Boban, a troll account..smh..
They’re purposely crisscrossing all the arguments and also just making up.![]()
Nah...who cares about Play Boban. I'm talking about many fans saying this team looked great without him in the first months of the season. I don't forget it
Kawhi trolling Pop-A- who's trying to use Trump as a detractor while getting swept![]()
LeBron was a beta who was a company's man until he bolted from Riley & became his own man
![]()
If we're gonna act like no one said "Kawhi should take a back-seat and let LMA run the show" "Kawhi should just focus on the defensive end..." I don't forget. Those fans dont deserve ANYTHING now.
Man, what are you talking about?
Aldridge was the most hated player on this forum during the off-season, everybody wanted him off the team..
Completely reading tea leaves, I imagined that the players just asked point blank, "Kawhi are you gonna play this season or not?" Kawhi gave an equivocal answer, and they said that if he wasn't going to be on the bench supporting the team, and he wasn't coming back, then it would be less of a distraction for him to just stay away - perhaps half-hoping that it might shame him into either staying and being supportive or even playing. To be honest, I can't think of many rational ways to explain his behavior if it is his own volition. I cannot think of anything comparable in professional sports. I also cannot think of anything comparable to Pop's getting a "pass" from the press for his remarkably boorish behavior. To borrow from another poster, Cam Newton was absolutely crucified for far less than Pop - OR Kawhi. Not much to like about or root for with this Spurs team.
