If you bench Mills over Walker, we will lose more games than not. Metu is interesting. Not sure if he should play more than Belli yet but against the Warriors I foresee his need at the 3.

White, DeRozan, Metu, Gay, Aldridge would be our death lineup more likely. Maybe Bertans in for Metu or Gay if we need more 3 pt shooting.

Mills, Murray, DeRozen, Gay, Aldridge is almost certainly the closing unit.

and is s the "Metu at the 3" thing really catching on? Its bat crazy to me. Never mind, he has never been a 3 but you have him in the Spurs closing lineup when he is an end of the bench developmental guy .

Well by death lineup I mean our longest and biggest lineup. Not necessarily our best lineup. Ultimately we will need something to give fits to the Rockets and Warriors. Those teams have more skill than us so for situational purposes just like how Messinba was putting Bertans against the Warriors sometimes at the 3 or even 2 we need to experiment even in spurts. Metu is definitely more suited at the 4 and I wouldn't want to see him at the 5 because he is so small. Would love to see if he works out as our KD stopper for 20 mpg.

Gasol has no business in the starting lineup. He's a situational match up at best.

Spurs need at least two players who can shoot over 40% from three this season on a solid number of attempts.

    After the injuries...

    Forbes, DeRozen, Gay, LMA, Gasol

I think Pop keeps Patty on the bench.
