White, despite being rusty as all and having zero chemistry with anyone, is showing why he's a defensive upgrade on the court. The play that featured the LMA block was due to White being able to recover and slow the shooter, giving LMA time to rotate. That hasn't been happening with Forbes or Mills etc. Giving enough resistance to give the defense time matters. Plus you saw a deflection out of bounds from White. The little things he does add up in the Spurs favor.
How many times are our guys going to try to lay in softly off the glass so Whiteside has an easy block tbh.
