Say what you want about Jackson, but to put their depth in perspective, he'd be the third option on the Lakers . . . he's a fringe-non rotation player on the Clippers.

Lou has been benched for Reggie a couple of times this postseason due to his play. In any case, Waiters is a better 2-way player than either one & he doesn’t even get ticks.

I know. Waiters is about 5 minutes away from being out of the league, while Jackson is 5 minutes removed from being a starter and second/third option on a playoff hopeful.

Even an off (washed?) version of Williams is better than Kuzma offensively.

Yeah, everyone knows Waiters almost got House’d due to basketball reasons. Reggie Jackson as the main playmaker on a bad team vs. as a role player on a contender are night/day. Waiters was the 3rd option on a team that had the Duds down 3-1 after he replaced none other than Reggie.

Waiters actually busted Reggie’s ass in the Bubble after being picked up off the streets too

Yeah, if he can actually hit spot up shots in the postseason ala TJ “salary dump” Warren otherwise dude is getting outplayed by Monte Morris after Trey Burke (another guy that was picked up off the streets) run circles around him in the 1st rd that he ended up getting benched for Reggie in Gm 6.

Guys like Lou/Reggie are pretty ubiquitous (nobody wanted Jamal Crawford although he can drop 50 on any given night), it’s just that they are mostly numbers guy on bad teams. 3-&-D (Austin Rivers being the floor) on the other hand is a different story. (Schroeder, after being given up for nothing, dramatically became valuable when he actually decided to try on defense)

Lou isn’t better for than a chucking traffic cone like Jordan Clarkson at this point of his career. Kuzma on the Knicks can average close to 20/10 while playing decent defense.
