I'm just gonna leave this here.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sil...-kawhi-leonard

Thinking a money making organization would rather take on lesser return just to spite some folks

Dumbass Magic just overplayed his hand, thinking he had all the leverage, and missed out on the best player in the NBA for the next 10 years.
    Kawhi ain't even lasting 10 years ...

And that article still doesn't validate that as fact. I know some of the guys that write for silver screen and roll...they have some sources ...but its not fact.
I do believe Ingram was untouchable but we needed him for AD. I do think Kawhi is better than AD right now but in 3 years I think the answer will be AD.
We missed out on Kawhi but I lament him ing us in FA more than the failed trade.

I'm mad we have Danny ing Green instead of Leonard...but the mute chose The stepchildren ...

    Apparently it was, tbh.

Anything less than what the Spurs asked the Lakers on that trade proposal, or what the Lakers finally ended giving for Davis would have been return for the best player in the NBA. And yeah, less than an all-NBA player, a former top 10 pick and a future first round pick.

What makes you feel that, AD Ironman history?

at thinking such a package was too much for Kawhi but having to actually give up more to get Davis.

No Ironman I actually think Kawhi is tougher...but he just doesn't seem like he is a long for this game type player. I could see him pulling a Barry sanders or Calvin Johnson leaving while still near the top.

Plus look at his mantra boardman gets paid and his personality ...just don't see him playing long term and I think his injuries are more degenerative...unless his story and load management was all bull

Didn't think the Rox were going to win this series regardless but wow what a clown. This guy is lucky that he still has 2 more years remaining on his contract after this season.

Doc was at the game watching his son play (poorly). Sike! He was high key scouting the Lakers. ain't slick.

When the Lakers started clamping Houston midway thru the 4th, I saw him leaving early like he was tryna beat LA traffic

Have the Lakers ever won a ship in the 80s onwards where they didn't have the best center in the league

    FTL
You didn't even have to specify 80s onward. They had Mikan for their first run in the 50s, and Wilt in '72 (second best center at that point, but close enough).

You have nary room. All your les were with Jim.

Funny how Lakers got the best Big man in the game. But he not MVP or DPOY

Rockets live by the three and die by the three. If they go in they are almost unbeatable, if they miss them a team like the Lakers with LeBron/AD can easily beat them. If they want to tie up the series they will have to shoot the 3 and ball way, way better.

How much better? Rockets have been shooting the 3 above average against the Lakers these last three games.
