Saints are currently the #1 seed, but they don't control their own destiny to keep it. Plenty of football left anyway. Saints still have to play the Chiefs and we always blow a game to the Falcons every year.

Agreed, tbh.

Defense playing their ass off but can't stop this juggernaut, finally catch a break on 3rd down, then trot out 12 guys on special teams and make it obvious for the refs. And it wasn't one of those "guy just got off the field too late" situations, either. There were 12 firmly lined up in position.

It's the right decision, but Flacco needed to throw a shorter route, something had to be open with that double coverage on the back end
