Ah it wasn’t really about curry that half it was how uninspiring the effort was. Worst of the season with an honourable mention to the jazz game
I guess you're right. Here in Greece is 6am i just woke up for work and checked the box score and saw Curry's stat line and one well guarded 3pt that he made and assumed he is on tonight.

    LMA looks done.

Lyles even when he tries isn't really an option.

Lonnie is too inconsistent on offense mainly because he defers. And he is awful on defense. Devin needs to take his spot.

Johnson looks exhausted already. I wonder if playing the 4 is wearing on him.

Offense stagnant as which helps the Warriors get out and run or semi run.

Aldridge looking like he has on cement shoes defensively. Lmao.

on a side note. Lonnie Walker really does suck if he doesn’t have the ball on offense or he is guarding the ball handler. Dude barely moves on offense. I mean he barely cuts at all. On defense he is always ball watching and losing his man when they cut also. His basketball IQ isn’t good at all. It’s really obvious how bad it is when you look at a guy like Vassell who is a rookie and he rarely gets caught ball watching on defense and he always makes smart cuts on offense.

I hate pointing out Lonnie’s short comings because I think the guy (if he could figure out how to actually play) has the athletic ability, beautiful shooting form, and frame to be a star player. All those good things i mentioned don’t matter if you have no idea how to actually play the game though. SMH.

It’s just dawned on me that the reason he doesn’t finish well at the hoop is not because he doesn’t like contact, it’s because his basketball IQ isn’t good enough to know which hand to use when finishing or that going into a shot blocker/defenders chest makes it harder for them to block your shot.

Sure but if Klay were healthy, adding LMA with that AND getting Oubre off the bench would've made them a definite le contender.

Agreed. I feel bad sort of ripping on him as he seems like a good guy and he's been through some stuff in life. He's an amazing athlete with some nice skills, but he really doesn't seem to understand the game. And at times he's timid

I think this is before we realized how physically done LMA is. The whole point of them getting and wanting LMA was to get a good isolation low post scorer, which is valuable at certain points in the playoffs where the game comes down and it gets more physical on the perimeter. But now it is looking like LMA actually can't post anybody up anymore, so while it would have been great to dumb him on GS he would have been just as trash for them as he is for us.

They'd have been le contenders even with just Klay healthy imo, Wiseman is gonna be a star and thats another reason for us to tank ffs. We need top pick talent.

Not really the game to dice Lyles, he played a quarter of the half that the Spurs trails by 20 points and he has a +5.

I remember reading an article about offensive blackholes - players that don't impact the game unless they have the ball in their hands. The article mentioned this being an issue for Lonnie going forward. His inability to generate assists and his disinterest on defense seems like this will hinder his ceiling as nothing but a bench scorer.

How can a team play zone defense and still give up open lay ups and 3 pointers. Lmao. Horrible defense. Just awful. SMH

We have like 7-8 guys capable of dropping 20 on any night, but the younger guys in that group of capable players take themselves out of the game by just standing around waiting for something to happen.

    So annoying.

The lack of aggression is boooorrrrriiiinnnngggg.

Aldridge's days as a defensive anchor are over. He's a liability on the court 90% of the time this season. He had one good game against the Lakers I guess.

I think he's definitely on the decline but I also think he has some 20+ point games left in him when motivated, like playing against his former team...and would dig up some more when needed, especially if he knew he was playing for a le contender. I think his "ma touches" phase is long gone, though.
