well I'm definitely not a casual lol.
This is really the first game of the season that hasn't been compe ive. Sucks that it came against the likes of the Pacers, but we probably will have to accept that this young team is just going to put up some duds like that.
Amazingly, we ended the game with a higher three-point percentage, albeit on 10 less attempts. But yeah, the damage was done early and this team just doesn't have the firepower to come back from a lot of 20-point deficits.
As others have said, White and Walker really need to get their heads in the game. It's one thing to have a poor game or bad shooting night, but they've both started poorly this season and frankly just look like they don't know their role. Spurs can't afford for them to only show up once every five games.

Pacers converted 18 3pts at 48%. It was too much to overcome, granted Spurs committed some unforced errors early. But the efforts were there imo, or it would’ve been a bigger blowout.
More Tre and Jock less Forbes and Eubanks.
34 AST on 47 FG, team ball, little isolation
FG 53%
3G 50%
that will win 80% of the games
DDR was a bad fit here. Awful. In a fantasy parallel world I could see him doing better if they made him the “Harden” and surrounded him with shooters, but that would mean we had shooters and no LMA.
But yeah, the Pacers game was the first bad one. They shot lights out and we were dead after that.
I was watching Around the Horn and they mentioned that the league as a whole has the lowest 3PT% in a while: 34.2% right now versus 36% or so for the last 8 seasons.
Some players were blaming the new ball, which is what prompted the segment. But the numbers don't lie, and it's not just the Spurs hitting fewer of their threes than one would expect.
Pacers hit 8? 3Gs in 1st qtr? Only the toughest teams could overcome that.
Look at Spurs team stats, probably their BEST numbers so far.
the AST/FG is very encouraging
