I totally expect this to be something other teams would let slide, but not the Spurs because "culture"
Like even a terminal illness wouldn't explain it. They still wouldn't need to waive him right now.

It better ing be criminal to just cut him instead of trading him.
Don't think anyone's happy. People are just making uncomfortable banter in the absence of facts.
This guy with the weird flex that he's in a text chain with Tim Duncan and in a probable serious matter like this one, smh.
"It is our hope that in the long run this decision will serve the best interest of both the organization and Joshua" That doesn't seem like he committed some crazy crime, this is bizarre.
If he committed murder and was caught, he'd be arrested and the world would know. If he was a suspect in the murder of someone, I would think the Spurs would at least wait and see what happens before waiving him. I mean, if any team would say innocent until proven guilty, I would think it was the Spurs.
If it was a serious illness, I'm sure the teammates would know and not be in shock.
What did Stephen Jackson get cut for that one time before the playoffs? Just because he thought he was better better than Green/Manu, right?
If this is something similar, and the Spurs cut Primo just because he ed about not starting over Tre or something, I'm going to be really disappointed, tbh.
Man, I don't want to speculate but the Spurs really aren't giving people anything else to go with.
I'm hoping this move means they'll finally look for a legitimate back up PG until Blake Wesley is ready to go.
And having him and Branham lessens the blow of them cutting Primo loose so soon, IMO.
A lot of speculation that it has something to do something with attempted murder. Might just be BS.
bruh why are y'all talking about murder? Do any of you live in the hood? Does this kid look like a killer? GTFOH
All that seems like is the vaguest possible PR statement, there's no way to read anything into it and that's the point
Anything murder related would be in the news. I just don't think that would not have people talking that are not in the Spurs organization.
Man, whatever it is, if it is not a huge deal, then the Spurs are going to scare away free agents and players won't want to be drafted. I just can't see this being anything short of a no-brainer decision. But it shocks me that such a scenario would exist and not be in the news.
I'm sure the CBA would not allow a player to get waived due to injury... if they can, then the Players Union are idiots.
Maybe he got caught with like 8 bricks of cocaine in his locker. There was that Cowboys player from San Antonio, Sam Hurd, who got busted for being a serious drug dealer. Something like that.
I was just telling someone the other day how much more enjoyable this team is to watch
But they can't help themselves
Either they made a massive mistake in drafting or they massively overreacted to something that other organizations are able to handle without eating 2 years of salary
Big loss
There's a bit of a difference between a 34-YO Stephen Jackson and a 19-YO lottery pick whose option just got picked up.
Murder? LMAO are yall serious? C'mon.......![]()
I'm beginning to wonder if it's something along those lines.
With PATFO realizing also his limitations
So did Primo intentionally injure Vassell in practice?
I wonder if Vasell is tied up in any of this I thought it was strange that both him and Primo were suddenly out missing games?
maybe he came into the locker room talking about how correct kanye is
