    Harper looked legit in this game. He already has elite ball handling skills and the way he controls the pace of the game is very Hardenesque. He is also a great playmaker and slasher. His biggest weakness is his 3 point shot.
    Three of his 3pt misses were really close and the one he made was waved off, he'll get there.

    No scouting report said much about his defense, but he put some serious effort in, he can surely be a positive defender.

    Love Harper's poise, control, handles and his D might not be bad. There's a lot to look forward to in his game.
    CB needs to get his shot under control, might need some G-League action this year.
    I hope the defense we are seeing in Summer League carries over to the real season. That is intense D.

    Needs to lock himself in the gym and work on his 3-point shot like most young players but his defense is elite at times and overall very good. His future is bright imo.

    I think the Spurs vets are looking at the SL team defense and thinking “I better get my defensive together or one of the new guys will take my minutes”.

    DJG is simply automatic offense. Dude scores in different ways at all 3 levels.
    DJG = SGA

    gotta give credit to the coach. These guys are all playing hard. I know he was on the Grizzlies staff under J.B. Bickerstaff before, so he knows a thing or two about grit and grind.

    The Mavericks don't have much choice with Irving injured and their retro roster construction, but Flagg masquerading as an offensive "engine" while Davis simultaneously does likewise primarily as a four next to two vertical spacing fives, is a recipe for a bottom feeding half court offense.

    Despite the hype, I don't see Flagg ever becoming that. He looks like an elite complementary star in the making, a souped up Siakam.

    Even if he's more so Tatum, a popular comp, that's nowhere near a "generational prospect".

    Meanwhile, Harper looks as advertised, which is a classic offensive "engine" in the making.

    Harper is a true natural. Flagg play is really forced at this point. Harper just lets the game come to him. Looks so smooth out there in his limited minutes.
