Nets 10-game winning streak meets Spurs 10-game home winning streak.

Something had to give. Nice win, bad finish Spurs.

Tim and Manu were pretty special tonight (from the floor and the line) once the clock got inside 9 minutes remaining in the game. That 11-0 run when Manu came back in was a back-breaker for the Nets.

I guess we were lucky that Richard's 18 PPG had back spasms.
    Of course the Spurs were.

Cause if he wouldve played, yeah the Spurs would been TORCHED.

Vince Carter's horrible ball handling and decisions in that time period were the big reasons.

I disagree that Ginobili played well, horrible decisions tonight, some bad moves in traffic.

..i totally agree with you Solid D, that last 40 sec of the game was real bad..

actually Pops despite the win is not happy...

    Pops, postgame quotes:

On the game - “Well, we won a basketball game. They helped us out because they were undermanned. They played more aggressively than we did. They executed better. They were sharper. In the last 39 seconds, they scored 14 points. That’s disgusting. We showed a total lack of concentration, a total lack of effort, a total lack of cohesiveness, both on the court and in me as a head coach. It was disgusting

    ---------------
it was like a deja vu of that TMac last 30 sec ran in Houston . Only this time we won the game.

They may not have shown this on t.v. - but Linton " Dude ya'll I'm not Nazr" was given his ring last night.
Pop, Timmy, Tony, and Bruce all presented it to him.
Linton hoisted the box up to the cheering crowd and in the process dropped his ring. But he recovered nicely.

Last night Robert Horry did a chalk talk after the game with anyone who wanted to stay. He was way late.
Sean Elliot hosted the event and asked about the delay. Rob explained that the team had been scheduled for their routine drug tests.
Unfortunately Rob had relieved himself before the game and didn't have enough for a sample.
Sean joked ( paraphrased): How ironic is it that Mr. clutch whose made a career of delivering under pressure could not pee when called upon!”

Because of the chalk talk, I had been allowed to move down to the third row. I got down there just as Amy Duncan was leaving with Baby. It was my first ever in person glimpse.
Sydney (that is her name right?) has the cutest little face- just precious!

Something doesn't seem right about Ginobili....
Maybe that he is once again having to come off of the bench because there is no one else stepping up to be sixth man. I understood when he was coming off the bench after the injury to slowly build up his minutes again, but to lose his starting spot because they need a spark off the bench is getting old.

Let's start a new reality show called The Bench. Manu is starting, which means that someone off the bench needs to step up. One of you will become the spark-off-the-bench go-to sixth man, and one of you will be put on waivers. Go.

Manu needs to come off the bench... WGAF about Manu anyway? Dude has barely played this year.

Spurs have the second best record in the league and their best ever without him.

Fouling down 12 with 30 seconds to go? That was very Maverickian of them. Was Don Nelson guest-coach of the Nets tonight?
You attack your opponent's weakness. Our's is FT shooting.

They should have started earlier. At some point the game is out of reach, and it's just bush league. I'd mention it if the Spurs did it, too. They don't.

She's a lovely mix but favors Timmy more now I think.
