Final score for the bookies
92-95.
I take back what I said. , foul the guy when a three is the only thing that can save them and let him shoot two FTs at the line.Ford misses 3 at buzzer and got a great look!
That Finley guy is alright.
Link??some folks you'd see hanging out on a bench in The park called me an idiot after the TMac come from behind game for criticizing Pop for not just fouling so they couldn't have a chance to shoot a three to tie/win.
Aggie critisizing Pop??
NOOO I WONT HEAR OF IT!!!
They should not allow these Eastern Conference pussies to challenge them like this.
No way in I'd go to Ford if I'm the bucks.
You have Redd, Williams and Kukoc around for 3's, that's the weakest part of Ford's game.
Strange.
Bottom line: outshot and outrebounded, but the team was more aggressive and got to the line more. I agree. Way too close tonight, but SA gets win #30. Yahoo!
Maybe not in "Spurs World", but it is to the rest of the NBA. Manu would have gotten that call every single time down the floor if he got hit that much (though he'd probably throw himself into the crowd to let the refs know).
And Mo called the timeout before he did that little bunny hop.
Uh, Milwaukee aint bad. They have some serious talent. They should not allow these Eastern Conference pussies to challenge them like this
Kinda like Ben Wallace?though he'd probably throw himself into the crowd to let the refs know).
Fin has really played well off the bench. I know it's only 3 games, but let's hope he keeps it up. Clutch 3's and ft's at the end.
You're right. What was I thinking?
Close one. I hate these nail biters. The defense didn't look as good tonight as it has the past few games.
Kukoc was inbounding (for height)..Redd was set up down at the other end waiting at the arc near the top with Bowen stuck to him.....Williams was down at the arc in rt. corner with Barry on him. TJ was the only one moving and open with Finley chasing him from behind. It was Tony Kukoc's only choice and they were out of timeouts.
Damn. Still gave up 50% shooting, and got beat on the boards again.
glad TJ missed, if he had made that shot, we're doomeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ford misses 3 at buzzer and got a great look just off-balance!
BTW, i think it's about time for Pops to wake up his guys and DO SOME EXTRA EFFORTS ON THE BOARDS
these other teams our rebounding us is just TOOO MUCH!
If Milwaukee hadn't extended Gadzuric another 5 years I wonder if you could give Barry straight up - the trade kicker in Barry's contract. I beleive their salary ratio's match.
Spurs totally destroyed in the paint, 34 - 56
FB points, 8 - 20
RBs, 34 - 39
Spurs truly escape with a W.
Ironic that the Spurs were destroyed in the paint, considered we have the #1 and #2 leaders in that category on our team.
BTW, did Barry play tonight?
Yes Barry played but only about 5-6 min. He was in at the end guarding Mo Williams.
Finley, Spurs end Bucks' run of close wins

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- Thanks to Michael Finley, the Milwaukee Bucks finally know how it feels to lose a close game.
Finley drilled two huge 3-pointers and was clutch at the free-throw line in the waning seconds as the San Antonio Spurs posted a 95-92 triumph over the Bucks.
The Bucks had been 9-0 in games decided by three points or less, including a 109-107 home victory over the Spurs in overtime on December 20. They also were 13-0 in games decided by six points or less.
But Finley, who scored 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, was a major reason that streak ended. The veteran drilled a 3-pointer from the right corner with 2:17 left to give the Spurs the lead for good, then hit another shot from the arc 28 seconds later for an 89-85 advantage.
Finley also made two free throws with 4.8 seconds left to give the Spurs a 93-90 lead. After Michael Redd made two foul shots on the other end, Finley converted two more from the line with 2.9 seconds to go.
Without a timeout, the Bucks were unable to send the game into overtime when T.J. Ford's 3-point banker grazed the side of the rim as time expired. The speedy point guard also lost the ball on his way to the basket with the Bucks trailing, 90-88, with 15 seconds left.
Tim Duncan scored 27 points to pace the Spurs (30-9), who have won three straight to move a season-best 21 games over .500.
Redd scored 26 points and Mo Williams netted 18 for Milwaukee, which lost its third straight game despite playing well against the defending NBA champions.
Ahh ok, thanks for the clarification.
spurs once again have yet to show any sense of urgency. i'm still waitin to see a team that looks like they can get out of the west.
Fresh Prince, on the non-call with Mo Williams, it didn't matter because the Spurs got sort of a makeup call at the other end when it went out of bounds off Mo, even though he got hit.
Secondly, he did travel but not because of the bunny hop so much as because he lost the dribble and he chased it down taking about 8 steps to get to it before the bunny hop and timeout call. The 8 steps between dribbles was why the Spurs coaches and bench went ape.
