I figured Bowen was on Bibby, looking at Bibby's shooting percentage. But I can't believe Manu's doing such a crappy job guarding Bonzi. He's usually one of out best defenders. It seems like Pop is waking up at giving Horry some time on him though...

true. it's about in game adjustments and the Spurs need some to go with an elevated energy level.
The defensive "effort" is embarrassing. They are having their way in the paint with us. Our bigs have been awful protecting the paint. The only reason this game isn't a blowout right now is our 3 pt shooting.
Pop needs to bench Nazr for this disgraceful performance.

well considering how ty the Spurs played in the 1st half it's impressive they're only down by 5, and that's WITH Miller's last second 3 pointer at the end of the half. Could easily have been only a 2 point lead - that's amazing. Hopefully the come out with some fire in the second half.

even when he does pick him up, he's having to switch off the screens. They need to play under the screens on Wells and make him shoot... anything is better than giving up layups

At this point, this game is looking pretty good. The Kings have shot as well as they are going to shoot, and neither Parker nor Duncan have done much, and the game is very close. All the Spurs need is a run and the lead is theirs again. By the way, thank god there's a 3-point line.
Parker hasn't done tonight except earn MVP honors from the Kings. 5 turnovers and he's letting Bibby punk him when he guards him. Weak.

Spurs are lucky they're on fire from deep. They dodged one with Manu, Horry, and Barry getting hot from out there.
