I don't think Jesus is so detailed as to be saying "hmmm does Angel Luv get Bill Miller's or no? hmmm..." or "Should I give Angel Luv the sign job instead?"
As long as your not a pros ute or something, I think he's good.
But hey, that's just me. Maybe Bill Miller's is part of that divine plan, I'm no Sunday school teacher.
Well I was a Sunday school teacher( really
) and I have always believed Jesus does care.
Of course, I would not presume to speak for God, so you should probably ask Him yourself.![]()
I believe he cares too, that's not where we differ. My sister is a Sunday School teacher currently. Top that smart guy.![]()
If he signed off on Bill Miller's being part of the divine plan let me know because I got a rock collection and I could really use some reassurance on Stony's well being.
Can't touch that. Nananana

How about I just pray for you?![]()
I tell you who needs prayer right now. The Suns.
Dallas is kicking their tail!
Go Suns.
You amaze me, Z![]()
I had my second interview about an hour ago.
I am here to tell you that it will be the grace of God if I land this job.
I had to take three tests. I am fairly sure I did well on the spelling and the editing test because those are my strengths.
What I do not do so well with are numbers. Granted I am semi smart there- I can do all the basic addition and subtraction. I can even figure out algebra if I have instructions in front of me.
Well they gave me a list of fractions some alone and some with mixed numbers and I had to figure out what was half.
I had a complete brain freeze. I may have even done the fractions correctly but I surely did not feel that way.
I don't remember when in school we halved fractions. I may have done it twice years ago.
My friend is really good and math and we had discussed fractions in preparation for the test, but neither of us thought to cover that.
I did the math portion first, thinking I could get it over with. That turned out to be a mistake because I felt so stupid afterwards.
Then after I did the spelling and editing, the manager came out and asked me all sorts of random questions like: "If 13% are for an idea and 42% are against it, how many people are undecided?", " Do you play chess?" and who is hurt most by a lower income tax?"
I had to pray. I wanted to forget about my math failure and at least give myself a chance to do well at the rest.
I think I did okay. I told the manager that I was fairly sure I hadn't done well with my fraction exam but was sure I could do them if he would show me how.
The manager is going to analyze all my results and let me know one way or the other probably by next Wednesday.
I did my best and have decided to try not to worry about it. The only thing that would suck worse than not getting this job is to let a not perfect interview ruin my whole weekend.
I just have to have faith that God will give me ( in the case of the fractions)underserved favor and hope for the best.
You'll be fine. God is in control!
Wow, they have a tough hiring process. The only test my employees have to pass to work here looks something like this.
Please identify the following:
A. Your ass
B. A hole in the ground
You jinxed them
btw...I'm sure you did really well angel![]()
Thanks Mo, SB, and SFIE.

Well, at least they didn't ask you to open a window they had previously nailed shut.
Sounds like there is a story there.![]()

damn they make you do all that for an interview.
what job were you going for again there?
and i'll be waiting for some sweet tea by the bucket. thanks!
Sweet tea? You are assuming I won't get the other job are you?![]()
J/K
The job at fast signs is as a service rep. The company seems really great- there are stores all over the country. And all the people I have met from this one are really nice.
All those tests were a part of the second interview.
The hardest interview process I have ever been through is with Southwest Airlines.
If memory serves, I had to go to the initial orientation. After that I was invited to a group interview. ( Keep in mind there were weeks in between.) Then after that I had to go to another interview in which I met individually with two SW Airline staff.
I didn't make it any further but the next step after that for me would have been flight attendent school.
I didnt even know about the fast signs job. then again i didnt really read all of this topic.
My interview for my current job consisted of sitting down with my boss now, him and I chatting for about 10 minutes, him telling me what the job consisted of, him telling me to think about it over the weekend and calling him. Great stuff.
My interview before for apartment locating was simply them saying, you have your license, here is how it works, do you want it? When do you want to start?
I havent really had any difficult interview processes....then again for a long time I would never get called for interviews, probably cause employers saw I hadnt worked in 2 years due to graduate school and therefore didnt want me. Or at least thats what I have convinced myself of.![]()
That is great stuff. What do you do now?
