It should be fairly obvious by now that it will be Miami - Dallas in the Finals.
Dallas is up 2-1
Phoenix comes back wins the next one its 2-2.
Way too early.
It's sure looking like it. The Pistons have come back before -- but that was pre-Flip.

Question. Flip is a major problem for the pistons, but aren''t the pistons suppose to be on a mission? To prove they can do it without LB?
LOL -- Walked into that one.
But you won't find me trashing the Mavs. They won that one fair and square.
cute,More like Flip Saunders sucks donkey balls.
but once again
When will Piston and NBA fan finally admit that Larry Brown was a litle bit more help to the Pistons getting to the Finals.
good to see, its hard to see the objective fans on here sometimes

The only thing Larry Brown had over Flip Saunders is that Brown actually used his bench during the year instead of playing his starters 42 minutes a night, burning them out by the time the playoffs rolled around. When will Piston and NBA fan finally admit that Larry Brown was a litle bit more help to the Pistons getting to the Finals.
Sometime in G2 of the Cavs series, they lost their edge and have since struggled to find it.
Right now, they have no iden y and are playing like it...
because Mark Cuban has yet to attend his reservation for 10 with gang raping gorillas.
Okay.
Nuggets will suck next season, too.![]()
You're so bitter you can't even make predictions without letting your emotions get in the way of better judgment![]()

Classic.
That and actually coaching 2 different teams to the Finals 3 times combined. The only thing Larry Brown had over Flip Saunders is that Brown actually used his bench during the year instead of playing his starters 42 minutes a night, burning them out by the time the playoffs rolled around.

touchy are we...
WTF are you still doing here, be gone troll.
I left the country last season the day the ECF started. I predicted Pistons in 7 and Spurs in 6 (off by 1!) and I was dying to see the finals.
Couldn't get the games where I was at but I watched BBC news, where they only reported every other in' game of the finals, and I knew I missed a good one. So selfishly, I wanted to see a rematch this year, but after the Spurs got out, I'd rather see something completely new.
What I think is wrong with the Pistons is the same thing that has been going on with them this season, and last season. The Pistons are a solid team...not a great team. But unfortunately, they don't seem to realize that. It's like what a sports writer said during the Cleveland series. The Pistons are not as good as they THINK they are. And it has shown during the past two seasons in their play. They have come to THINK that they are this offensively diverse team, when that is far from the truth.
They were a lot more dangerous when they accepted that they are a mediocre offensive team, and relied on hustle and defense. And it's like I've said before. It's a lot easier to win a le when no one expects you to win, rather than being the one with a target on your back. Great teams win when everyone is gunning for them.
It was discussed on local radio: The Pistons are a flawed champion/team...
So would this be the first team to have four guys play on the same all-star team and not win a championship?
No. The 1997-1998 Los Angeles Lakers had 4 All Stars, but lost in the WCF 1998 to the Utah Jazz. (Shaq, Kobe Bryant, Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel)
And the one guy who didn't go has been the most consistent of them all. Frustrating indeed...
I'm just curious to know what off-season moves the Pistons will make this summer, win or lose.
Yeah Tay is playing his boney ass off.
Mo Evans is campaigning for more time as well.
So what's your point? They're both overrated coaches. That and actually coaching 2 different teams to the Finals 3 times combined.
