Now we just have to wait for the Mavs horseshoe to fall out of their ass, and we're good.

Not sure where Duncan fits in this equation. He got yanked early in the 1st qtr (have no idea why) and got his act together in the 2nd qtr.
He sat out the last 1:23 of the 1st to get some more rest and was brought back in earlier in the second.

I wonder if we'll be able to win with only Oberto, Vaugn and Barry showing up to play.

Cool...Legler and Sutton are telling us what we need to do to win....

We just need to do the opposite.

I can't believe we're only down 9 points. We should be down 30 the way we're playing.

Duncan has come alive but Parker and Ginobli need to wake up. Oberto and Vaughn have been awesome. Barry is playing ok but I'd like to see some of those 3's start falling. We won't get any scoring from Finley if he doesn't shoot. I thought Horry might have a good after hitting that first shot but he's been horrific out there too. I wouldn't mind seeing Bonner.

If the Spurs win this game I'll eat spinach for a month.

    Few thoughts

-The zone at the end of the 2nd quarter was horrible. I don't know why Pop choose to run it, but it as a stupid decision. They were doing a good job of fighting back when they weren't turning over the ball, but the zone gave Dallas several open 3s. Just a bad idea at a horrible time. That ones on Pop.

-Our starting backcourt needs to pull their collective heads out of their asses. That was horrible. We can't have that many TOs and win.

-Duncan is playing solid. Diop plays him better than anyone else in the league though. TD needs to do a better job of throwing him a mix of fakes so he gets him in foul trouble.

-Vaughn was impressive. He and Barry brought a nice spark off the bench. Too bad they were the only ones providing a spark.

Why not?? if doing the opposite worked for George Constanza, it can work for us

Duncan's coming around as of late in the second, but he's not been playing that great all game, stats be be damned....Manu and Parker's stats aren't bad either, aside from TO's.

Oh yeah, I don't want to see Horry off of that bench in the 2nd half. I really wanted this guy to retire in the offseason, and this season has shown why. He's been horrible the entire year but especially horrible in that first half.

Duncan has played solid. Whoever is behind him needs to be able to cover the glass on Duncan's rotations. They've done an OK job, but they need to keep Dallas off of the offensive glass.

Three reasons for the mavs lead:

    - Hot mavs shooting. A lot of the contested. Props to the mavs
    - Turnovers. Travelling, stupid passes, over penetration
    - Loose balls. Almost all of the loose balls have gone to the mavs. Mavs have 6 stls to our 2. Some of them were due to bad bounces but the balls usually goes to the aggressor. Manu needs to step up his aggressiveness.

The bench has been decent with Barry and Vaughn doing all the bench work. Someone else needs to step up in that regard. Time for FIN to T it up.

It appears to me the Spurs have solved the Dirk problem from last season with the Oberto and Elson combination...

Now it's up to the rest of the guys to shut down the rest of the Mavs...

Now, with Oberto and Elson on him, is when we need to force Dirk to beat us.

WTF is up with the Bulls. I thought they'd be a serious contender in the East with the Benny Wallace signing. Dude is pitching a BAGEL against PHILLY (bulls down 10). 0 pts 0 rbds in 19 mins. wow.

The Bulls have no interior scoring threat and their D is vastly over-rated.

The Bulls are definitely a possible trading partner for Scola IMO.

They have an entire team of long SF's to give us in return.

Looks like the Paxson for exec of the year may have been premature.
