We finally got rid of egotistical and idiotic Reggie McNeal and brought in a QB that the team can rally around with his hard work and good decision-making, so I think this would be a terrible idea. I would call for Fran's head if that were the case. How can you replace a Junior QB with a guy who might be a really good WR for this team?

Btw, OU started getting really y when they were leading and that's why they lost... it's very typical of their team and the types of players they recruit.

The Huskers rarely lose at home (since 98 only 7 losses and 3 of them to Texas). OU also rarely loses at home, and Mizzou will be a tossup. So I used some logic to consider those games and possible outcomes.

Would I like to see an 8 tm playoff? Sure.
Do I seriously think the sponsors & $$$ involved will do it? No.

That's the problem, college presidents and NCAA officials are so happy with the bowl kickbacks that they don't notice the even bigger pile of money that a playoff would produce.

Football is the #1 sport in America using any stat that matters. But college basketball's tournament package brings in more revenue than the BCS. Tells me that there is a revenue stream that is not being maximized with college football.

well, not at this point, but i am not predicting a national championship or anything. although, i am optimistic since we will be better we should be able to overcome more of their boneheadedness. imagine when he (Fran) actually calls a good game....watch out!

At least they can successfully take advantage of BACKING into the conference le game. UT managed to fumble their chance when they lost to CU in the 2001 Big 12 le game.

BSU played a great game and made some unbelieveable plays. It's a credit to the players and coaching staff. There aren't many times when Stoops gets Stupified. Which is a consistent occurance with Brown at the helm.

UT played like in the Alamo Bowl and almost lost to a sub-.500 team. There nothing to be pounding our chest about in winning the Alamo Bowl.
