Drizzle will be more than enough, though. It takes less than 1/100 of an inch in rain to cause this city to have its roadways shut down.

If you keep getting rain, not much until it stops. It'll be like up here on Saturday where it rained and rained and even though the temp. at the surface was below freezing, up in the clouds it was up in the 50s and that kept things from getting really bad.
When it stops though, you're screwed.

Nah, because its been in the low 30s all day, rain will start freezing on contact. I'm pretty sure that by late tonight most of the bridges in town will have a good coat of ice on them. SAN ANTONIO -- The Texas Department of Transportation closed some freeway ramps in San Antonio on Monday night due to freezing weather.

Elevated ramps of I-10 Westbound exit to Huebner Road
I-10 Westbound entrance ramp to UTSA Blvd
I-10 Westbound entrance to Loop 1604
I-10 Eastbound exit to the frontage road at Leon Creek
Loop 1604 Westbound entrance ramp to I-10
Loop 410 Eastbound exit to Jackson-Keller
Loop 410 Westbound exit to West Avenue
Westbound exit to Vance Jackson Road
I-10 elevated levels in both directions between Fresno and I-35

Due to the winter ice threat, ALL Northside ISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday. A decision about classes on Wednesday will be announced on Tuesday via this website and the media.
